engi issue

hi, problem with engineering, there is a quest requiring materials (mithril casing etc) for the gnomish engi, in ironforge, but there is no quest for the goblin engi, in Tanaris
maybe i mistakenly took the quest for the gnomish first, instead of the goblin in the ratchet, dont know what to do now

I would try resetting your specialization by reading the book in the hut at Steamweedle Port in Tanaris.. but I'm also not sure if that's how it works on Onyxia or if that's even the problem. It could also require you to finish the gnomish specialization before resetting, I'm not sure. Maybe someone more familiar will reply.

Try using the book in Tanaris (the hut above steamwheedle port) to unlearn the specialization *AND* learn the new specialization. Update whether it worked pls.

yes, i read somewhere about the book, but it is not usable, apparently, until you do the quest with materials for the gnomish, perhaps after that i can use the book, gonna try out today
