Technical cant create a Death knight

hii all hope who ever is reading this is doing great, so last night i hit lvl 59 on my rogue in onyxia and decided i wanted to make a death knight, so i saw i dont have the option where u pick ur spec for a death knight, i tried switching realms but then i got to the point of making my death knight just for it to say at the end i dont have a character on any realm thats lvl 55 any help would be greatly appreciated

You want the server Icecrown, onyxia doesn't have DK's yet.

oh i see but i tried creating my DK there but then it tells me i dont have any lvl 55 on any realm but onyxia is then a realm so i a bitt confused i dont mind switching between realms as i play so im happy with icecrown but it as i wanna finish creating the DK it tells me i have no lvl 55 on any realm

That message is from the client and retail, where servers with different rates don't exist. You need a level 55 character in the server you create it.
