Lordaeron In Game Timezone Sucks For North American Players
It's genuinely dead unless I am forcing myself to be awake at ungodly early/late hours when I should be sleeping.
Told that Warmane is world wide, popular as heck, and has people from all over at all times..At least on Lordaeron this is a complete lie. Icecrown has people on at all times but has it's own issues that I dislike. So I moved to try out Lord to see if I can find a nice casual medium sized guild to play with.
No luck, every guild is 6 to 8 or more hour time difference from me over here on the West Coast of the USA...I never see any NA guilds advertising, and the whole server is just completely dead by the time I get off work and get home to play my toon.
It really kills my drive to actually bother spending my time to play the game at this point.
Where are the NA Guilds at? Do they exist? Told they do but never see them.
I'm no kid playing Wrath back when it first came out all those years ago with nothing but time on my hands anymore, I got a job, bills to pay, and other duties to do. I just wanted to enjoy the game with people </3
I feel ya here man, I too am west coast and play with my brother and father on Lordaeron. The guild that I'm in on my Paladin is about 8 hours ahead, that being said they have started to schedule raids on saturdays at around noon my time which for them is 7:30pm. If this time slot works out better for you the Guild name is Darkstar. They're smaller but have been growing steadily, for the most part the people are nice and willing to help run dungeons and stuff for gear/ whatever as long as you ask. Other than them though i'm afraid that unless you speak enough spanish to get by options are indeed limited on lordaeron, although it's not the fault of the server itself. i believe personally it has more to do with the attitudes of most PuGs and boss tuning for normal raids which has led to a massive ammount of gearscore gating and stacking certain classes in order to clear an encounter... In another post an admin had made a comment that the over tuning of normal raid encounters will be looked into and corrections possibly made if their investigations deem it necessary.
