They stood outside gate of VoA 24/7 cause it was more honor kills / time then battlegrounds, (belive me, I was one of them for a while) specially when they also entered the WG battle and trying to loose so other faction would win and have a constant flow of people to VoA.
Now they stand outside ICC mostly between matches.
It's all about honor kills, nothing else, and tbh, what makes your priorities in game more important then others? Everyone playes this game different.
Your username makes sense with the statement you posted. It would make sense IF they actually fit all the categories you mentioned here for this topic on the forum of the server of the game that you moderate.
Take all the examples below :
1) AV : Taking Towers Reduces reinforcements or defending them keeps the reinforcements which allows teams to play tactic fully and navigate those aspects and gain an advantage. There's also the mini boss AND the final boss. All of the objectives play a part on whether you can defeat the final boss quickly or do kills in case its a reinforcement battle. In most cases, there is a decision to be made between either huddling in their own base while their towers get taken down because realistically most teams are not strong enough to cover each and every aspect. There are SOME places where you can get an advantage and make it a somewhat balanced fight sometimes.
2) Arathi : Has Bases and reinforcements in which case both have direct correlation with one another that MAKES teams split apart. Premades lose a lot in this BECAUSE they dont like splitting up. When they do split up, it is so easy to dismantle them and even bis players get taken down because of skill differences
3) WSG : Even if it is a stomp in both cases, at least in the worst case scenario the maximum it can go upto is 15 mins and the flag gets capped so quickly that the maximum that its not even a direct cause of concern in case of stomps
4) EOTS : Same as AB , Bases and Reinforcements. Trying to split them creates chances of winning or they just play like a train around the bg and lose.
5) SOTA : Premades lose the hardest in this because they forego objectives for kills and just stack with each other sometimes while ignoring demos and the stealthers bombing the gate.
Each and every one of the above bgs has a way to win against premades because EACH and every objective has a major consequence on the final outcome. These are where the skill difference and organization show an actual difference.
Meanwhile IOC has a major issue which is being taken advantage of by premades is that it requires 0 team organization also. The side objectives don't play a huge role as the other bgs other than to get you an advantage into getting into the enemy base. They do not reduce reinforcements nor do they reduce a powerful npc next to the final boss as in AV. So it is literally ignored AND actually favored for premades because they can ignore every single objective existing in that bg other than the final boss with 0 consequence.
1) The vehicles barely do any damage to players. Including the huge siege machine that is mainly meant for disruption and EASILY gets destroyed in a few seconds and it takes a millenium to respawn.
2) The Gunship barely does any damage to players with both buffs and just one bis geared dudu healer can heal it with 0 issues.
3) The Docks don't help either since the glaives barely damage players and catapults dont help much once you're dead and being farmed in their base.
This bg and its side objectives are 100% dedicated to just taking down the base doors. So even if you have 0 skill but huddle up as 25 - 30 bis players which includes a minimum of 5-6 bis geared healers that have the ONE collective mindset of 'Stick together and just keep killing them and ignore ALL objectives' then there is no getting around this since they just have to plant themselves in one spot. Even a decently random pug coordinated 40man alliance group cannot win against that because there are so no other objectives and the only way to win is in maximum one to two brawls after which you are effectively split up and being farmed at the base gy and Thats the end of it. This logic applies to WSG but at least it ends quickly and you are not effectively trapped and have to sit out 30-40 mins of waiting for the reinforcements to run out slowly.
This bg worked during the OG wrath and even classic wrath because realistically it took time to get all the pvp gear for all characters and it took time and effort to get to a rating where you got enough arena points to get all the wrathful pieces and the bis pve pieces that go with them.
There is ZERO counterplay to them other than just hoping that a random bunch of 40 people can effectively coordinate and smash the other team in an all out brawl. Even if it works, there is no chance that the smashing will be one sided, it will take a LOT of effort and that too with randoms that decide to go here or there or try doing other objectives which already reduces the fighting strength for the next fight.
In short, Yes, I do believe warmane has to do something about this bg because they are the only ones who can provide a solution to this.
Inconvenient truths are often labeled obnoxious by those affected, I know.
That isn't the typical Isle of Conquest experience. You're insinuating it's broken and this is happening every game which is false.
The goal of the battleground is to use siege weapons to break down the enemy gate and kill their general. And that happens.
A side note as well. The seige engine has a secondary seat that nobody uses that can destroy an entire enemy team.
You can only switch to the turrets if you're the driver, which I think is a bug, and then the Flame Turret doesn't work because Napalm doesn't do damage. Not that I believe fixing this would help much, since the Siege Engine doesn't have that many hit points - a single multiboxer will bring it down in seconds.
Works better that way. You drive yourself to a nice ranged position while your team pushes in front of you. Then you swap cannon and blast their team for 5-6k a cannonball. Very effective at pushing them back. But ya the annoying part is when a noob player jumps into driver seat and suicides into their team. In that case I wish they did fix the other ability cause I think that one is like a 15k aoe. Probably hasn't been reported because nobody actually knows it exists seemingly.
youre unironically delusional or ignorant to the fact... (not to sound insulting, but staff being this clueless just shows that you dont play the game) now what im talking aobut isnt premades, they arent a problem and they rarely appear in AV/IOC its more or less in smaller bgs. but from my experience, for hte past few weeks i farmed around 12k Hk, and unironically i believe i won like 1 AV on alliance side, whilst on horde side i won every single one with hundreds of HK farmed, its not even premades just pure pugs, whilst on horde we did loose some iocs but we got so much HK it was completely worth it, i think the problem lies in mentality, majority of experienced players on alliance felt this and once they see av pop they insta /afk same goes for IOC, you loose middle fight u loose the game, otherwise i dont know any other reason why this would be the case, but it is 100% the case, alliance on IOC and AV, are almost impossible to play, please if you or your colleagues have statistics, you can easily check it.
horde are just perma farming HKs, and realistically its better to be horde than alliance if you want to farm Hks without a premade
from my own experience in high bracket smaller bgs (wsg/AB/SOTA/eye) pug vs pug is alliance sided, but rather balanced, whilst AV IOC is abnormally on horde side.

Are you trolling? You're literally doing the same, except an even more intense version. Yours isn't blaming the other team being stronger and playing better, it's your own being bad and giving up. What do you expect Staff to do, create some "Bad Teammates Protection" buff? They are Battleground, not Even-Win-Rate-Grounds. The better, stronger and more willing to fight team wins. That's how it's supposed to work. A whole faction having no interest in winning, even when there isn't a premade making it more difficult, is something players have to change.
Once again this particular moderator has not seen even one point that this post is trying to make and I will further on be ignoring his replies as he is truly clueless about the actual problem.
The better, stronger and more willing to fight team dosent win sometimes and that 'sometimes' is possible because there is a way in the system of a battleground to win against that. A whole faction is interested in winning and many random bgs have had wins against stronger teams BECAUSE they played it smarter or had a last minute decision that turned the tide.
The IOC Premadefest bg leaves NO ROOM for any sort of possibility because of the sole concept that the objectives are meant for breaking doors down and nothing else. It becomes a simple all out brawl where there is no other way to influence the reinforcement numbers EXCEPT to kill people. Guess what? You put that SAME premade into AV or take 15 of those same 'coordinated' people into any other bg and they will fall apart time to time. Why? Because there are other objectives involved which can influence the outcome of the match. So those group of people aren't better , they are just stronger thanks to donated gear and grouping up as 40 people in one SINGULAR point in the whole map.
This is the reason that the staff should do something about it because its a MAP issue where 'git gud' and 'being better' has 0 effect unless all 40 players are 'gud' and 'better' and 'coordinated' and 'as good geared a.k.a stronger'
You're actually just not listening. This moderator and the other moderator in this thread are just reinforcing Warmane's stance on this issue. This stance is actually the same stance that Blizzard, the creator of this game, has always had.
Your complaint is the same tired complaint that has echoed on forums since the dawn of WoW. PvP has been perceived as unbalanced by players since always. Alliance is too strong. Horde is too strong. Tired of getting ganked. I'm getting spawn camped. On and on.
The answer as always will be that this is the game. You got beat. If you want to win then you have to be better. There has never been nor will there ever be intervention outside of what players are capable of doing themselves. Changing that is an impenetrable steel fortress. Your argument ended before you typed it.
can we do something about this, HORDE keeps farming IOSC same tactic every day and its impossible to win????
You can. Coordinate with your teammates and prepare a counter-tactic. Should be very easy if they're doing the same tactic every day. Back in the day we made our own guild to coordinate tactics and suddently battlegrounds had shifted in our favor, even if the enemy was better geared.
Or, just keep doing the same thing over and over. But the Staff won't intervene.
