Burning Crusade Sent mail to the wrong character – is recovery possible?

Hello,

I'm looking for some help regarding an issue I had with the in-game mail system.

Server: Onyxia
Sending characters: Eloya and Bearweaver
Issue:
I accidentally sent in-game mail to the wrong character. I meant to send it to Spellhannce (with two "n"s), but instead I sent it to Spellhance (with one "n"). The mails were sent from my characters Eloya and Bearweaver.

I checked the Armory, and the character Spellhance appears to be a level 1 Troll Shaman — so it seems like the character isn't even being played or logged into.

Is there any chance to recover the mail or have it returned, since this was clearly a typo and the recipient is inactive?

If I need to take any specific action or open a support ticket, please let me know.

Supposing the player doesn't open the mail, it will return to you after 30 days.

I know the character is level 1 based on the Armory, but I can’t be sure whether it’s just an alt or a bank character.

I’d like to know if it’s possible for a GM to intervene and retrieve the mail and return it to me.

I understand it might be unlikely, but I had a lot of valuable mats in there... worth a try! ??

You can open a ticket but I don't think they will do anything about it.
