What are the password allowed characters?

Hello, how is everyone today?

I keep getting an error trying to set a new 12 character strong password,
"Invalid new password provided, try again."

Please tell me what are the allowed characters and maximum length?
I searched the FAQ, the Rules, and the forums without finding anything
official.

I'm also going to suggest that the password restrictions on characters, min and max length be added to

because using the strongest password and 2FA are both reasonable.

it's limited to i believe 16 characters. and you can only use numbers and letters. no symbols.
