I don't have to prove anything, nor does Warmane as a whole or any of our Developers. You're the one making the claim, you go research Trinity and prove that it has a bug.
But as bohateruid said, yet again, "if you have the skills to do so ( i doubt it )."
Your samplesize is not small, that's true. It's pitiful.
You link to the law of large numbers and then build your whole argument on sample sizes it doesn't even apply to.
"Not talking small samplesize" starts above 10.000 attempts in a context like this.
And even if trinitycore was just a scripted rng seed: there's so many events going on every second due to thousands of players it would simulate rng close enough.
And even if trinitycore was just a scripted rng seed: there's so many events going on every second due to thousands of players it would simulate rng close enough.
Not to mention that Trinity is open source, so anyone with the knowledge could have checked and fixed it if the RNG was faulty, and that it's been around for years and years, used by multiple private server projects, yet only now in 2025 someone saying the drops are wrong "because I didn't get it when I think I should" must be taken seriously.
Are you implying we have either tweaked drops or "ignore" a bug so people will use Coins more?
Consider carefully how you will reply and convince me that isn't what you're implying.
Not answering will naturally be taken as confirmation, with the expected consequences.
Now the discussion shifted from burden of proof after realizing that something is probably wrong with the code to the "correct" size of samplesizes.
Considering you still type this it's clear you're not looking for a solution anyways.
It's open source code like mentioned multiple times. Go look it up and say what's wrong with it. Or make a decent attempt at checking dropchances by having a proper samplesize.
You just want to complain and look for approval fishing up 5+ years old threads and consider your feelings facts.
I also had bad luck on several toons during the time i've spent here. Took me 73 attempts to get sts hc on my dk due to it simply not dropping at all. Warr it took a single week and in two months i've seen 11 sts hc drops on him.
Bad rng happens. Good rng also happens. But people rarely complain about it.
Blind's post pretty much sums it all up.
If you still believe we have drop rates or RNG wrong, while not having any evidence of it or making any effort to show the open source code is wrong (or worse, accuse us of purposefully making it so), feel free to find somewhere else to play.
