I reported a guy for foul language/harassment and apparently whoever read the screenshot maybe thought that the certain incriminating text was from me to the other guy....

the issue is that i got banned instead of him and now i have to miss 1 raid because of this >.<

A GM would more than likely just tell you to put that person on /ignore, not give a ban for something like that.
You might have been banned for something else.
