I'm a newbie who just wanted to explore the world of warcraft with my girlfriend and my friend. That was until I found a lvl 80 Aliance player, who decided to camp Freewind Post - killing every single guard and all the low lvl new players who dared come close to turn their quests in. Unable to even leave the zone, due to getting killed in seconds whenever we revive, we were forced to stop playing and go to a different game, because typing in Global for help got us tired after 3 hours.
Unfortunatly, it seems like this is normal and allowed, I understand that pvp game is meant to be a fight between players, but someone camping a low level zone and murdering new players on repeat is just not what pvp is or should be about. This is just griefing and bullying of low lvl new players and I just have to wonder how many new players quit because of being bullied like this. Apart from this we had so much fun, it's really a shame and I can't wrap my head around how is this level of griefing allowed.
Having this behaviour bannable, or atleast having guards stronger so they could protect the new players as they should would definetly make the community better and increase in population would in turn make pvp better aswell.
Unfortunately global has become so active that it's hard to actually read what's in it to the point that people use addons to scrape messages they're interested in. So at this point I recommend a guild or asking (with yell) in Orgrimmar, since you're Horde, but mainly try to avoid Tanaris, Stranglethorn Vale, Hellfire and the immediate surroundings as much as possible. You can also run into issues in Northrend but there should be more people interested in helping.
