WotLK Send Heirlooms via mailbox and accidently deleted the recipient character

Hi,

I've send my heirlooms from Krosofil (BF Hoder Mage) to Drkro I think it was the name of a NF Druid Alliance. I've accidently deleted the Drkro character and I assume the unreceived mail will be delivered back to Krosofil after 30 days.

Can the process of returning mail be sped up somehow since those are heirlooms I need to level up Krosofil with.
