1. What the hell is that BG matchmaking?

Hey guys, ive came back to warmane after some time. Im pvp rogue 6,2k and I need to ask, what the **** happened to matchmaking?

I cant win one single BG for SECOND DAY IN A ROW. I cant do daily for 30 hours rn.

Is there no point in que solo for BG nowadays? Only premades are in?

Im playing merc mode, ally and horde. Im OVER 20 LOST GAMES IN A ROW.

    How is that even possible?

  2. You seem to be the common factor in those losses.

  3. May be. Seems like i have great impact in those 40v40 bgs.

    10 minutes passed, 1 more loose :)

    EDIT: another one loose

    EDIT2: another one loose

EDIT3: I WON! We had ~100 hks in SOTA vs 20 hks of horde and we survived with 10% last gate.

    Great success i suppose.

  4. There are days when bgs go very badly and you can't do anything about it.

I agree with this mostly but some context is needed. Everyone has a ceiling and a floor skill wise. I have thousands of hours(over 4000) and I am a decent player. There are still some groups in Duos and Squads NA FPP that just absolute wreck us. We learn literally nothing and it does not elevate our skills. We will continue to lose to them. It's not an easy game to get really good at.

    Try at a different time.

It's just a matter of luck, but it's almost always bad luck.

Again, I think you were very unlucky.
There is nothing to be surprised about if you lose for several days in a row.

    How is that even possible?
Good question, but the answer is obvious.

I agree, random bg is more demanding, there are too many premades that want easy game without any challenge.
As zorino said, you are very unlucky, 20 loses in a row is hard to do even doing it intentionally.

Honestly for me it is hard to comprehend that there are so many people wanting graveyard farming, which is extremely boring, for both sides.

It's all about their hk numbers on the leaderboard, they want to have as much as possible so that when (or better said... if) they apply for a job, they can say they are top hk farmers.

On Lordaeron it seems that the horde is the most pve-oriented faction and the least pvp-oriented.
This could be one of the reasons why the alliance has a higher win rate.

You’re not imagining things - that’s exactly what’s happening. The problem isn’t random matchmaking or bad luck. Nearly every battleground is dominated by large premades: usually 10-15 players in smaller BGs, and full 40-man raids in AV and IoC. These premades queue constantly on both factions, often using alts to dodge facing another premades or farm on both factions.

They’re not there to win - they’re farming honorable kills as efficiently as possible, which means stomping solo players, not ending the game.

Merc mode makes it even worse for you, because you end up playing against premades from both factions who actively avoid premade vs premade fights. Plus, there’s a higher chance you’ll fill the spot of someone who quit after being farmed in an ongoing battleground.

Since you’re a rogue - sorry to break it to you, but those premades don’t exactly roll out the red carpet for you. You'd have better chances as bis DK, Prot War, PvE hunters, Spriest, Fire mage etc and healers of course.

I can't imagine how sad and boring it can be to play like this.
