    Banned for needing boe...

I was in a rhc with my friends, A pala tank A shaman healer and there was me as a combat rogue and there were two other randoms a shadow priest and a mage . A BOE item named Je'tze bell, which has MANA PER SEC (and that is a healer item) since my friend in group was the healer he said its fine if i roll need aswell. Now the shadow priest who doesnt even need the trinket, reported me for ninja looting and i got banned. What do you think about this situation?

This was definitely an unfair ban! I would even go as far as asking for some compensation for the time lost while being banned. Needing a boe item should be fair game and if he didnt ask for it then the ban is completely unfair and unjust.

I did a ban appeal I'll update if they answer me. And no the guy didnt asked me to give him the item, he remained silent till the end of the dungeon and after that he said he reported me and left the dungeon

First, lots of people think that everybody can need on boes. That is not correct. The same rules that apply to bop items apply to boe items as well. Second, you need permission from everybody in the group to need on something. It is not enough to get permission only from the players who can need on the item.

I get that part, but noone had a problem with it, only 1 person in that group it seems like, and he didnt even told me about it till the end of the dungeon, he said reported for ninja looting and left the group. So was tha fair? 4 people had no problems with it , one did and he didnt say anything just reported keep that in mind it wasnt an item for his spec

A BOE item named Je'tze bell, which has MANA PER SEC (and that is a healer item)
    IN-GAME NINJA POLICY
    Example of forbidden acts:

    • Player need rolling (group loot) on items which he cannot even use.
    • In RDF needing on items for Off-Spec (unless everyone in party is explictly fine with this).
    I wonder...

again, did you read what i wrote? No one disagreed with me needing the item, but at the end he reported me said that i got reported and left. How would i know he is not fine with me needing the item?

That's irrelevant. You broke the rules, not him, and you got banned for it.
Nothing that you write about him not saying anything will remove your blame on that. The responsibility was yours to have him explicitly say he was okay with it, not just assume.

Okay, but if my friend with the shaman healer rolls need on it (because according to the rules he can need it) then he gives it to me how is that any different? All i’m saying is that they could’ve investigated the case a bit more before banning my account. I understand the way i broke the rule but the guy doing this to get me banned is not fair. Plus looking at the fact he couldnt use the item either because he wasnt a healer and he didnt declare that he needs in OS and rolled need on it, did he broke the rules aswell?

Read my previous post again, it still applies, and will apply over and over to anything else you try to argue.

I understand that i broke the rules now, BUT the guy who reported me broke the rules aswell, he rolled need on an item that is OS for him, and rolling for OS without anyone agreeing is considered as a forbidden act. So my question is, that if im banned why isnt he banned aswell?

Because no one reported him. You can report him if you have proof.

I mean he did a report, that had to include him breaking the rule, since he had to provide screenshots of me need rolling for that BOE and there was him need rolling aswell without saying anything about OS, so the gm who read the ticket should've noticed that instead of blindly banning me, it wasnt fair at all.
