    Bored and ready to quit

    Hey guys,

I've come to the point where im dead bored in the game.
Can't pug because im not attuned for BT only Hyjal. (****in just missing killing A'lar in the disguise)
Pugs for TK never pop up at the right time for me anymore...
I can't stand waiting in global chat for pugs to pop up and my gaming times are sporadic, so I figured I should probably just quit for now.
Got a warrior in p1 gear and mage in p2 gear.
A whole lot of gold and got nothing to spend it on. Can't be bothered to level a new character to spend gold on it.
I guess there is also gold selling for coins. But is there anything else fun I could do with gold in this game?
Ive go a bit over 5k in total.
I hear Zul aman will be some kind of catch up phase? How exactly does that work if im not attuned for BT?

Zul'Aman is a 10 men raid with pretty decent gears, I heard it's pretty easy. it's kinda like Zul'Gurub in vanilla. The best part is you don't need any attune to join it? :D
But probably still need some T6 raid to help you catch up with upcoming SWP phase.
I'd suggest you join gdkp to buy some gears. or find a guild that need dedicated members.

That's the Spirit. TBC is overhyped and is extremely boring and tedious, wait until WOTLK is released for Onyxia. People want to complain about WOTLK Sons Of Hodir Rep for a bad point, yet it's infinitely better than the TBC Flowchart you need to follow to even do anything once you hit 70. Not fun, Class Skills and Talents are Meh up until Wrath comes out for Onyxia changing not only that but Spell Power/Attack Power for Certain Skills.

BT attunement may be removed when ZA comes out also. We should be sure shortly..

TBC even flawed was 80x better than Vanilla.

Half classes weren't complete until TBC.

I would still pick TBC (even 0.5x) over any other expansion.

Classes had reasonable amount of health/mana

Pvp was more balanced than in any other expansion since

People were still figuring out best setup for 3s and 5s

Still relatively small world , it didn't feel empty not even on not so populated servers

GS/ilvl didn't matter whatsoever. Rare trinkets were usable well into late expansion.

Zone quest chain reward ( Nagrand) : Idol , Libram , Totem reward was usable literally until Wotlk if you didn't have luck getting epic ones.

Then Wotlk came , all classes got overpowered abilities , and game turned into complete shi* show . Whoever had OP pve trinkets in pvp , got arena titles.

Full pvp gear mattered as much as spirit on prot warrior.

Pvp players were forced to do pve .

As for pve , Wotlk pve /gdisband many guilds.

Its easy to talk now from this perspective '''nah icc was easy , toc was easy , this was easy , that was easy'' knowing what you know now

TBC most balanced PvP? I will say the opposite, one of the worst balanced, near Warlords of Draenor, the best PvP by far was MoP but by far, then Cata then WotLK or Legion.

TBC is Rogues,Warlocks and Mages being Gods, everything else a stone is more useful that a Feral for example, or a Ench Shaman, have you ever seen a Retr Pala on competitive? Useless, meme clases for PvP

All the attunements are gone now. ZA has a lot of catch up gear and the badge vendor in Shatt also has a lot of new gear you can buy.

I'll agree I am a lot more of a Wrath fan. TBC I think has the best content as far as like the design and characters and story etc. so it's fun to experience. The actual gameplay though can get really boring. Hyjal cough cough. And some of the classes like warlock or hunter which are disgustingly overpowered have the most boring rotations. You go into PvP and it's just the world of roguecraft. Getting sapped and stunned half of every game is very boring gameplay.

Wrath was the peak of the old era games as far as balance and gameplay. Cata is fun, but it nuked the old game.

"TBC even flawed was 80x better than Vanilla"

Yeah better than Vanilla, but not better than Wrath for many reasons.

"Half classes weren't complete until TBC."

Yeah, and Wrath finished it for classes like the Shadow Priest and Arms Warrior who was much better thanks to AP (Armor Penetration). Along with many other classes being upgraded.

"I would still pick TBC (even 0.5x) over any other expansion."

I wouldn't. In it's purest form, Welcome to Attunement Flow Charts and the Grind more so than ever to even be able to do anything at all. The overall experience Wrath brings was much better than what TBC brought, especially end game. Illidan is cool, but Arthas is much better especially going off Warcraft Lore imo.

"Classes had reasonable amount of health/mana"

Which was made better in Wrath. Tanks were Actually Tanks with Tons of HP, High end going to 50k For Prot Warriors, other classes ranged from 26k-37k Depending on Class and Gear Setup Including Gems and Enchantments.

"Pvp was more balanced than in any other expansion since"

If you think Rogues are bad in Wrath, It's even worse in TBC. Most classes for Pvp had limited specs, vs Wrath where more specs and Talents would become much more viable and open up much more possibilities.

"People were still figuring out best setup for 3s and 5s"

Yeah and as time goes on, the Meta happens as of now Decades later as it should happen, for better or for worse regards to 3's and 5's, and also PvE Group Setups.

"Still relatively small world , it didn't feel empty not even on not so populated servers"

Limited to just Shadowmoon Valley and Netherstorm for High end Content/Highest level (70) hang out spots, while WOTLK offer so much more especially for World PvP Between Ice Crown, Storm Peaks, Wintergrasp, and Sholazar Basin.

"GS/ilvl didn't matter whatsoever. Rare trinkets were usable well into late expansion."

GS/Ilvl has helped as it always has since Classic. WOTLK made more of a gap but not as much as the gap from WOTLK to CATA. That was too much imo, while the Gap Wrath brought was Very Good.

"Zone quest chain reward ( Nagrand) : Idol , Libram , Totem reward was usable literally until Wotlk if you didn't have luck getting epic ones."

Yeah but this is what happens every Expansion. Gear gets Replaced, Trinkets even Heroic on High End Raids only do so much. The look on People faces comparing Nightfall Axe or The Unstoppable Force to STARTER TBC QUEST GEAR was More insane that everyone was going to have something like that just doing a basic quest from Shat, and not anything Raid related or having to Grind Reputation to get something like that.

"Then Wotlk came , all classes got overpowered abilities , and game turned into complete shi* show . Whoever had OP pve trinkets in pvp , got arena titles."

Everyone got a get out of Jail free Card, making PvP more interesting on Rotations. Do you just burn all your abilities and DPS that Shadow Priest down? Or Will the Shadow Priest use Dispersion? This added many new options for All Classes of All Specs. PvE Trinkets helped only so much for AP and SP, vs an Insignia say on Horde's side that added Resilience. Someone with one of those Insignias and a Free Action Potion when used after a Rogue Sap/Stun at the right time completely negated Stun Lock and would become an easy kill unless the Rogue was really good and knew what to do just to list an example.

"Full pvp gear mattered as much as spirit on prot warrior."

Resilience did matter, especially when facing someone in all PvE Gear that didn't have any Resil. They may have high Stats and AP or SP, but Resil helped a lot to negate the Burst Damage and overall Damage they would deal to you.

"Pvp players were forced to do pve."

They were never forced. The PvE Trinkets can help if you wish to go after them, but no PvP Player was ever forced to do PvE.

"As for pve , Wotlk pve /gdisband many guilds."

So didn't end Game Classic, So didn't TBC with all of it's end game raids. This happens on every Expansion.

"Its easy to talk now from this perspective '''nah icc was easy , toc was easy , this was easy , that was easy'' knowing what you know now"

Same for TBC, imagine not having a flowchart knowing what we know now and actually having to figure that out. Now THAT'S a Sh*t Storm. No Thanks that's crazy and not fun at all compared to content WOTLK Brings. WOTLK isn't perfect but it's the closest wow has ever come to it.
