Hi Gnimo im huge fan on your guide but wnat little bit more info, why chose 264 armor items not 277 , lost so much stamina araound 4k HP for 4k armor this armor give you 2-2.5% dmg less but 4k HP is 4k and i dont get it... Ty <3
Can you show please, how you get 400 stamina from upgrading several items from 264 to 277?
And about armor, it is huge boost in defence that will make you take 2-2,5k less damage from each boss attack
yea sure this is my stamina build https://armory.warmane.com/character...ecrown/summary adn here is the armor https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50466 + https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=51901 + https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50991 + https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50344 adn difrenc is around 4k hp
So difference is 54 stamina from 3 items. Trinkets are different thing, and usually are tuned to each fight individually. And most "reliable" trinket duo is Sindy + PTS for stamina + armor.
As you can see, here it is in fact only 54 bonus stamina VS 1900 armor. IMHO, armor wins here by a lot. Only in fights with somewhat like 65-70% of total damage taken as magic will higher stamina win over constant damage mitigation from boss melees

You have to do the math entirely and not just say "it's 2~2.5% less damage taken vs 4k hp.
If you bump your armor from 65% to 67.5% it's not "just 2% damage less". You actually go from 35% to 32.5% damage taken, meaning almost 7% less physical damage received to before.
Also your "stamina build" isn't even done properly. Go for t10 helmet + marrowgar 25hc legs and please drop that garbage prof 10 trinket. Organ is a terrible trinket due to how bad the uptime is.

Does Hysteria stack with Blood Lust? What are the best targets for Hysteria? Hunters, rogues, war?
It would be possible to drop glyph of dark command with a certain amount of hit?, if so 17% is the cap for that to be possible?
@Sunalux
A short answer to your question would be yes, you could remove the Glyph of Dark Command (GoDC) if you reach 17% spell hit whenever you want to make sure you don’t miss any taunts.
If missing a taunt doesn’t matter to you, you can remove it as long as you have the melee hit cap of 8%.
To reach 17% spell hit, you’d have to sacrifice a lot of avoidance since you’d need to rely on gems and enchants, which in my opinion is not really worth it.
Now, a more detailed answer in my opinion should look at it from the perspective of the importance taunt has in a raid.
In fights where adds are spawning that you need to taunt, or where you have to swap the boss with the other tank every so often, I wouldn’t risk removing GoDC.
A missed taunt on Deathbringer Saurfang would mean more boss hits on the marked tank, therefore a higher chance of putting more marks on the raid, adding extra pressure on the healers.
A missed taunt on Putricide could mean the boss gives more stacks of Mutated Plague to the other tank, thereby increasing the raid damage.
A missed taunt on Valithria could mean a healer dies because an add one-shotted them.
If you’re tanking Lich King alone, a failed taunt could mean a Shambling Horror or Raging Spirit one-shots a DPS or healer, or a Raging Spirit gets out of position and silences the entire raid.
Here you could also argue that you have Death Grip as a second taunt and could use it in case Dark Command fails, and that’s true, but personally I don’t like leaving this to chance since there may be situations where you need both abilities to taunt two different adds.
There are also other scenarios where there won’t be tank swap mechanics and you’ll be the only one tanking the boss, such as Marrowgar, Rotface (unless you’re on Ooze duty, in which case I do consider landing taunts important), Blood Queen, Sindragosa and in these cases you won’t really miss the glyph that much, since Hunters will be casting Misdirection on you on cooldown, and combined with Icy Touch, that will be enough to hold aggro throughout the fight.
It’s important to mention that taunt needs 20 seconds to “reset.” This means that after 5 taunts without that 20-second gap, the boss will become immune to taunt. We don’t want that. At least, I don’t.
For me, having a taunt never miss is of vital importance for rotations and fights, given all the aspects mentioned.
A good practice as well is carrying spare glyphs in your bags and swapping them during the run. It costs gold, but I consider it good practice, since in those fights where you don’t see much value in Dark Command, you can switch to another glyph you think will help more, and then after that fight put Dark Command back on.
I hope I helped you a little.
Enjoy tanking!
Hello Gnimo,
maybe this is a nooby question but, you said "DO NOT SPEC Heart Strike", so why you put it in your talent?
from what I've understand it is from really old edition of the guide. You should spec Heart Strike if you would like to maximize threat even more, if you think IT is not enough
