WotLK How to use add ons?

Hey, so I played WotLK a year and half ago on retail and had a bunch of add ons for the game. I added my previous add ons to my new add on folder for Warmane and non of them work. I wanted to ask if there is a way to make them work or can you not use add ons on private servers? Or do you have to get different add ons

You have to get addons for original WotLK version.
