1. Alliance and Horde PVE activity

Hey guys, how are you doing?

Listen, its been a while but i've decided to replay WoW Wotlk and i've found this server as the 'best wotlk there is'.

So, i have to ask: how active is PVE (both leveling and endgame) on both factions? How toxic is it? Are there some classes / roles in higher demand on each side?

Thanks for all answers in advance!

  2. They are close in terms of activity. Horde is often the faction recommended for PvE enjoyers. The way I see it, since Alliance is "the PvP faction," I'd say it can be bit more toxic. As PvP, or competitive scenery in games in general can spark few fires over bruised egos and frustrations or "people not playing fair." Leveling side might not be as active as you'd hope on either side. Max levels are a dime in a dozen. Toxicity? Yeah, there is some. You can't exactly avoid it online anymore, and it's not the best to dwell on negative experiences.

In terms of demand.. Generalist on demand role order: tanks > healers > ranged dps > melee dps.

    Demands:
Tanks: Blood DK or Prot Paladin. The rest aren't valued as much.
Healers: Resto Shamans, Holy Paladins and Disc Priests are sought after.
Melees: Combat Rogues, Unholy DK's, Fury Warriors, Retri Paladins. There are plenty of these, but the demand is there. Meta privilege.
Casters: Demo Warlocks, Balance Druids. Meta ones would be Fire Mages, Shadow Priests, MM Hunters.

Feral DPS Druids, Affliction Warlocks, Assassin Rogues, Frost DK can be strong picks. Sadly they aren't as wanted as their own classes' meta specs. E.g. If you aim to play Affliction, you're going to be asked if you could be Demonology instead, the same goes with Assassin and Combat, Frost and Unholy. Might cost you an occasional raid spot.

  3. Both factions have a healthy amount of raiding guilds , but most end game guilds will ask for a minimum gear before they let u in.

Toxicity is present in both camps especially when one cant perform good enough to the raid standards ( bad defiles and failing other mechanics )

For the most wanted classes : Tanks as in DK and prot paladin , Resto shamans and holy paladins , hunters , demo warlocks and boomkins are the main looked for classes.
Other classes like fury warrior or mages are very prevalent and as such require a higher gear in comparison to other classes to get a raid spot.
