I still think prepatch date is so lame, +40 days in tbc for what? population is already dead

Apparently, some of these people here who are favorited, have families. The rest of the year, they dont, since most of them are online 24/7 even while at work.
Weird, isnt it ?
Can we have a earlier pre-patch so we can at very least practice and get familiar with classes in swp
Original schedule was fine, bar having just the one week to level to 80 and gear up your pre raid BIS, and that week took place during Xmas period.
If the period before Phase 1 started was just extended a week I don't think anyone would be complaining. Why is there such a rush to start Phase 1, when people can be having fun running dungeons with their guildies for a week, and people away on holiday could then have two whole weeks to get to 80 and prep for Phase 1 then.
I'll make do with whatever but I don't think the timing of prepatch and launch were the issue, it was the extremely short period for launch to phase 1 during the xmas break that was the issue.
Why is there only one week to phase 1 start, why are we in such a rush. The same happened at TBC launch when our guild didn't have 25 men/women geared and ready for Gruuls at end of week 1.
start voting to get previous dates back, the realm is dead anyway, people only want Wrath now
Where are the polls?
my problem was the less then 7 days to level and gear up for for raids.. the initial dates werent a issue for ppl with family if u extended prep time by an additional week. 1 week is dtill ridiculous. no matter the time frame. 2 weeks to level BG professions. grind rep/pre raid bis is a better option then less then 7 days because it still takes time the day of to level to 80 not every 1 can level to 80 in 7 hours.
Should move everything up one month EXCEPT the raid release. Keep the raid release mid jan, but release WotLK five weeks before hand, on December 10th instead of Jan 10th.
This gives everyone time to enjoy the holidays without fomo, and the sad saps something to do during that time, without getting too far ahead gear wise. Will give dungeon gear a chance to shine, and gives slower levelers more breathing room.
One week from release to raid is way too fast IMO, but also January release is too long a wait, and doing it END of December is dumb because of holidays. So do it earlier.
