1. Avarage Warmane pvp:
    1) Log in, spend ton of money to get your char biss gear or buy one full bis, enter arena full bis and farm losers from Lorda or new players from Blackrock, get into premade group cause you are full bis, and farm every BG, good thing for you premade only bracket aint a thing cause you would end up fighting other primade who is full of batter players not whales like you
    2) Make fresh char on Blackrock, 5,5kgs go into bracket below bis bracket, farm 4,8-5,2 Lorda and Icc players, they gonna get moved to bis bracket as soon as they hit 5,4 anyway (happen to me) so you are still bis for that bracket and have unfair advantage, enjoy till they move you to real bis bracket, delete char, make a fresh one and dominate again all over again
    3) Try Lorda, you que BG to get pvp gear, first bracket you get farmed by 4,8k gs while you got 0 resi, you get to 4,7k they move you to 5,5 blackrock bracket you get farmed, get to 5,4 they move you to bis bracket, you que arena, your first match at 0 rating is Icecrown SM warr and hpally lol

And worst thing about getting moved to Bis bracket is you at least had a chance to win in Blackrock bracket do to them having mercenary mode on all the time, as Horde only time we win in bis bracket is when you get into HK farmers group and than most of the time we lose but hey you got like 200hk for useless title lol, other than that 10 times you lose 9 lol, you got merc mode on? I had it, got into ally side, one WSG and got Ironmen from it, makes you wanna swich to ally side just to have a chance at wining rbg lol

Still it's free and only xpac I like, just venting a little lol they aint gonna fix brackets or made primade vs primade only brackets

  2. They ask for a staff reply, but we all know they'll argue with it anyway.

The answer could be written by God's own hand with a certificate of authenticity signed by every government on this planet with 6 billion 999 million 999 thousand 999 other people agreeing with it and that one guy will still argue against it.

And they'll argue that PvP in a video game destroyed their whole life, they lost their job, their wife left them, their kids are starving. The reality though is these people eat kit kats sideways. You can't explain it to them ever.

Pretty soon therapists will need additional training for clients suffering from PvP related incidents in WoW. Domestic violence will increase as a result of grown men throwing tantrums over getting beat by a premade in a 20 year old video game. They'll get shipped off to psychiatric hospitals chanting in the rooms to themselves, "it was warmane's fault" over and over.

Does that sound dramatic? That's how I feel reading and responding to these PvP complaints.

  3. Then stop reading it, every time there is a complaint about pvp on forum, you get out of your cave and defend it, lol, grown *** man giving his all to defend premades, crap brackets and other stuff people complain every single day, grown men throwing tantrums at every forum pvp post defending bad system against all other players and casuals, I bet you pray to God every night for pvp to stay broken like it is, so all the time you spent defending it here on every single forum post will feel like you did something good one time in your life, stop reading forum, it's bad for your mental health and get back to your cave mate, have a nice day.

I'm open to having a constructive discussion about problems and solutions regarding PvP. I'm a very active PvP player so these topics affect me. The problem is that these forums and really any WoW or gaming forums in general get polluted with people venting. They exaggerate their complaints very heavily. Their statements don't represent what is actually happening in the game. It's inconsiderate to spin a false narrative to the community.

It's fine if you don't enjoy the game how it is. That's an opinion. Recognize that not every player feels that way. What I'm saying in my responses is you need to understand that these things were always part of the game. That's not defending or arguing anything. If you can get to the point of understanding that this game was the same ten or twenty years ago as it is today then you will understand why it continues to exist this way. The game was designed to function this way and getting beat at it doesn't make it broken, it means you're bad at playing it.

  5. The easiest solution to the balance in pvp is FORCED mercenary mode. And banning AvEnabler. Forcing mercenary mode will instantly make BGs more fair for both sides.

  6. And banning AvEnabler. Forcing mercenary mode will instantly make BGs more fair for both sides.
    Thats not how it works.

  7. I think we're being too negative, honestly.

We can offer constructive criticism, such as introducing ranked BGs like in retail, and not allowing premade groups in those BGs.

What would be the positive outcome of this? Well, there are many players, from casual players to those who have earned the title of ‘gladiator’ in Warmane, who prefer to play BG rather than arenas nowadays. So the incentive of a ranking is always welcome in PvP, as we are people who like to compete.

What could be gained from the rating? Well, that's not for me to decide, but it occurs to me that, for example, you could get the same as in 2v2 arenas with ratings (thus excluding some weapons and wrathful shoulders).

I apologise if I've made any mistakes, but I really like the server and I want things to be introduced that make it better and that we can all enjoy. And I think that spouting crap (however true it may be) without a proposal for improvement doesn't benefit anyone.

Yup. Forced merc mode and limiting premade size will randomize the BG rosters and effectively balance the BGs from a statistical standpoint.

You dont understand that queuing in a "premade" with more then 5 people is possible without any addon, all you need is just to time/cordinate between different parties when you que and make sure all parties get the que at the same time.
What perform av enabler does it simplify the process. "Banning" the addon which I dont see how they would pull that off would not solve anything :)
The game alredy limits how many players you can que with to a total of 5 (No perform av enabler does not que everyone into the same bg)
What preform av enabler does is that it queues everyone SOLO for a specific BG and you can see who got the que/who didnt etc.
So your solution to "limiting" premade size alredy exists within the game.
Forcing merc mode unironically is a questionable method that might produce mediocre results at best.
If Warmane thought this was even a issue they would have done something about it years ago.

  10. 100% agree with the fact that it realy needs some adjustments either in a tuning or matchmaking way or add some kind of lift-ups for the side that is starting to lose consistently to try to equalize both sides , i sincerely believe the players should pressure the GMs into start banning or putting some kind of limitation on what kind of content the multiboxers can join , or just straight up ****ing ban them no need have 3 different multiboxers controling 15 characters and ruining everything.

About that, you might wanna check our Forum rules, specifically this one:

"#13: Complaints about Multi-boxing -- Hostility towards the server or other members due to the subject of multi-boxing is not allowed. It is a supported play-style of this game and the mistreatment of others for it is not allowed. Read about our stance on multiboxing here."

  12. I COMPLETELY agree with OP. These matches are completely unplayable. Boring blowouts where your stuck being GY camped all day. It's really unfortunate that a small team for a private server can't see the problem in this. I left retail because the PvP had been completely ruined by premades. I tried Classic, Vanilla, Retail, and SOD and ALL of their BG PvP is completely destroyed by premades. Not a single good match. As a last ditch effort I came back to Warmane from long hiatus (I'm from Molten-WOW era) in hopes that this private server had figured it out...

What needs to happen is FORCED mercenary, and the selection is COMPLETELY RANDOM, not dependent on what your original faction was. Second, ZERO grouping allowed for RANDOM BG que. Third, the system needs to make sure that when a person ques, they are put in a separate game or faction from others who qued in the last few seconds. This will stop sync-queing.

Have RATED battlegrounds for those who wish to make premades. They can fight other premades. A party of any size can join up for RATED que and be put with other grouped fighters. If there's not enough people in rated que, aw shucks, que random as solo. You'll live. If you want to play with your "friends", then find enough "friends" to start a WSG. We all know you won't, because sleaze make a premade with their "friends" so they can **** on lowbies by graveyard camping them for 25 minutes straight, not to have a fair fight.

The casual BG community is the largest portion of the gaming population and we don't want to play against these super sleazy premades anymore. They make trash matches. If this private server can't figure this out, we'll just have to stop playing WOW altogether. Because premades are making battelgrounds COMPLETELY unplayable!

  13. I tried Classic, Vanilla, Retail, and SOD and ALL of their BG PvP is completely destroyed by premades. Not a single good match
So you're flat out saying the game works like this in every variation of retail you tried. I guess you don't see it somehow, but to me it clearly says without doubt that it's something expected to happen, meaning if there's something that needs to be figured out it's on the players' end in how they deal with premades.

The casual BG community is the largest portion of the gaming population
Not by any stretch of the imagination of the most imaginative dreaming child. World of Warcraft is a PvE game with PvP side-content, the largest slice will always be on the casual PvErs.

Exactly what I mean. Look at how exaggerated this is. Every single game on every version of WoW really? Did you think players here just discovered the game yesterday? It's like going to a court room to argue a case and lying about a situation when literally everyone in the room was there and witnessed it. Large scale premades are extremely rare especially on the other versions of the game you mentioned.

For here, I can prove you wrong right now. Character statistics are displayed on the armory. Look under PvP battlegrounds. According to you it should say many battlegrounds played and 0 won. You'll find under these statistics though the average player with well balanced win/loss among all battlegrounds. And actually you'll find AV/IOC are the least played naturally because lack of players.

Can't argue with data and actual numbers.

So we should never try to make this private server version better than ***-retail? That's the most asinine thing I've heard.

Again, lets make it better. People are leaving retail by droves because of this problem retail has. MAKE IT BETTER.
