why is it hard to implement only 1 thing and fix it all: if you queue premade bg you gonna face the same premade bg group? we dont care how much kenzz with his lifeless squad gonna wait, people want to play bg, not being sabotaged and farmed for 40+ mins straight.

Coming back to this after two days of attempting to get a RBG win and having to leave one AV/IOC after another. I am seriously considering abandoning this server. It's absolutely sad. I wish there were rated BGs where people would actually go for the win and play the game rather than camp HKs. It's not about strong vs weak or 6.5k gs vs 5.5k gs (which by the way is something Warmane addressed and fixed). I'd much rather lose a quick one vs people who are stronger than me gear-wise than being forced to participate in a 45 minute braindead HK farming fiesta that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the thing I signed up to do by joining a random battleground.

There's only one way. I suggested it multiple times when I'm there and the mindless farm starts after the mid fight and I was told to fck off. lol. The only solution there is to never recap the bunkers, I play both factions and believe it or not the horde doesn't want it either. As soon as you sense that it is going to be a farming fiasco rather than people doing the objectives just stop recapping the bunkers. Mini boss down, minus 100, 4 bunkers down minus 400 leaving 100 reinforcements left. you could imagine waiting for about an hour for an AV que just to only get about 150 or 200 HKs is something those farmers might not find fun. SO ONCE AGAIN HEAR ME OUT!! as soon as you see them, you probably know them by now. Do not recap bunkers.

It’s interesting to watch a Warmane representative tell the dissatisfied Warmane community (several hundred people) that the fact that 30–40 player groups organize themselves and queue into the same BG together is actually fine — and that those unhappy players should just endure it in BGs because that’s supposedly how it’s meant to be.
I believe Warmane is taking the side of these players who abuse the addon to queue into the same BG together. On Blizzard’s official servers, it would be nearly impossible for 30 players to queue into the same BG. I don’t understand why Warmane isn’t listening to its community and doing something practical to help improve the gameplay experience.
Blizzard designed battlegrounds so that players complete objectives leading to victory — and that’s not happening on Warmane. Every AV or IOC has turned into nothing more than HK farming. If Blizzard had intended BGs to function like arenas, they would have just made a simple flat area for fighting, not gone through the effort of designing battlegrounds with objectives. The points that decrease through killing opponents were meant only as a safeguard — so that if two evenly matched Horde and Alliance teams completed all objectives, the winner would be decided by who was stronger in PvP. On Warmane, this safeguard is used purely for HK farming.
I’m an advocate for the purest possible gameplay without “FUN” custom modifications. However, we have to keep in mind that WOTLK is an old expansion — players already have BIS gear, and although the player count is high, it’s still nowhere near the massive numbers that Blizzard’s official servers once had. Therefore, it makes sense to intervene slightly and make small adjustments to fix gameplay elements that no longer work properly.
I would support non-invasive changes that could help make these BGs fun again, rather than just a reason to wait out a 15-minute deserter debuff and hope the queue system doesn’t throw you back into the same BG.
Here are a few suggestions that could improve the situation with minimal interference in the game. It would be enough to implement just one of them:
1. If someone queues for a BG as a group of 5 players, they should automatically be queued with the Mercenary mode enabled, without the option to turn it off.
or
2. Apply the Spiritual Immunity buff (known from WG: https://www.wowhead.com/spell=95332/spiritual-immunity) to graveyards in AV and IOC.

It’s not about keeping the thread alive — the point is that for years now, the Suggestions section has been full of proposals for changes that would make these BGs fun again, and they’ve been permanently rejected. Every day when a player wants to do a Random BG daily, they just hope they don’t get queued into AV or IOC, because it’s easier to take a 15-minute deserter penalty than waste 1.5 hours AFKing at the graveyard (and then hope the queue system doesn’t put them into the same BG again).
Why do you think players want a change to how this works? Just join one of those BGs and read the chat messages — a lot of players complain about how it’s handled, and only a small group actually comes to the forum to post their complaint here.
It’s also funny to see how the “veterans” who’ve been playing here for years just join, check who’s on the opposing team, see that it’s another waste of time, and immediately leave (I do the same thing).
The majority of the community simply wants Warmane to make some change to stop this nonsense, where one organized group of players has a massive advantage over everyone else. If it’s supposedly fine, then why not put up a poll on the website with a simple question?
For example: Would you like changes to the system for AV and IOC BGs to make them more balanced?
Probably because the answer “YES” would overwhelmingly dominate — I’m convinced of that.
The people who bring up these topics just want BG PvP to be fun again, not a waste of time. Personally, I wouldn’t even have to participate in this discussion — I don’t need honor or gear anymore, and on a new character I can easily get honor through honor marks.
But I want BGs to be fun again, because they’re a different kind of PvP than arenas.
