WotLK Quel' delar quest line problem.

Good day all. I recently got hold of the Battered Hilt item, followed the quests up until The Purification of Quel' Delar. I entered teh Sunwell, and put the sword in the Sunwell, I then got teleported out of the Sunwell, with no sword in my bag. I then couldnt eneter because it said I did to many instances recently. I still have the quest, but cannot continue because I dont have the sword. Please help

Abandon the quest and pick it up again. And make sure you are not in a raid group when trying to do it.

if I abandon i, wont I loose it completely?

Because I threw the sword in the Sunwell like the quest said, and then I got teleported out, without me getting the sword back

You can get the quest back from Halduron Brightwing once you abandon it. He will give you another copy of the Tainted Quel'Delar.

May I ask, would you know which is the best choice for a Boomkin once it comes to cellecting a weapon with the quest line?

Druids can not use swords, so your only option is the caster mace.
