Site How do I earn Points?

I have a lvl 70 char on Onyxia with 1110 achievement points. That would make me eligable to gather passive points. But when I click on "Collect Points" it says "You do not have any points to collect."

Some people in /trade said it doesn't work on Onyxia, you need a char on Lord/Icecrown.

Can somebody please clear this up for me?

Only Icecrown/Lordaeron achievement points counts.

Seasonal realms don't count.

Thank you so much for your reply and the additional information! I am very curious why Onyxia Achievement points do not count but I can still use the points on Onyxia characters..

Suppose it's due to Onyxia's nature is different compared to Icecrown/Lordaeron.
