Should Warmane Discount Codes Clearly Show Which Items Are Excluded? My Experien
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share something that happened to me during the New Year event, and I’m really curious how others feel about this.
I received a 30% discount code from Warmane.
Great, right? I had 49 coins, so I donated 45 EUR to reach enough coins to buy Shadowmourne with the discount (150 → 105 coins).
But when I tried to use the code, the store said:
“This code cannot be used on this item.”
There was no warning anywhere that discount codes don’t apply to certain items, especially big ones like Shadowmourne. If I knew this, I would not have donated at that moment.
I’m now sitting at 115 coins, unable to buy the item I donated for.
💬 My question to the community:
Do you think Warmane should clearly list which items are excluded from discount codes before players donate?
- Should the store show a warning like “Discount codes do not apply to Legendary items”?
- Has this happened to anyone else?
- Do you think this is fair, or should it be more transparent?
I’m not here to attack Warmane — I just want to understand if this is normal, if others experienced it, and whether the system could be clearer for everyone.
Looking forward to hearing your opinions.
I think there should be a mention of the code not being usable for legendary items. It's only stated here on forums whenever somebody happens to ask about it. It could be added to gifts interface.
