Today, 14th of January 2026, without announcement or suggestion, suddenly there is a 20 hour cooldown on specialized cloths (spellweave, ebonweave, moonshroud), which there was not on the first 4 days of WOTLK. Why is there no information about this anywhere? I saw that there was no CD on it yesterday, So I bought a bunch of mats at still premium prices to make some cloth. Today, suddenly I am not allowed to make the cloth. Some players made hundreds of ebonweave/moonshroud/spellweave before today, and are now sitting on a mountain of gold, because prices more than doubled overnight because of the change.
How?
Why?
Most of all - why was there no cooldown before today? This is quite frustrating and I can't help but feel screwed over. If i had made all the cloth i needed for the coming weeks yesterday already, it was allowed, and today it's suddenly impossible. Too late; missed the boat! Tough luck etc.
Exactly, I was farming alot of titanium and at the end of the day I decided to make titansteel, I was surprised there was no CD so I thought to my selfn: oh in that case I'll keep my mats for now.
Nest 2 days later I want to make helm there is CD on titansteel xD
No information about bug fixes or nothing...
it was a bug - a very obvious because you could check against wowhead etc.
better ask yourself why you didnt report the bug. if you crafted more than 1 within the cd timeframe, it would also be a valid reason for a removal or bann for buguse - which will obviously not happen because even if you crafted 2-3, it is a very minor bug.
the only real question you should ask is why this bug was in the game in the first place.
