I have this problem since I started playing at the end of November last year. I didn't have this problem when I played here 3 years ago, or any time before that. I didn't do anything to the client. I tried with and without addons. I even redownloaded the client.
The Problem:
Enemy name plates, in every WoW version I have ever played, are supposed to be above the head of a character.
When I play on Warmane, though, they are inside the chest and the head part of the character. I can't see a lot of spells they are using, wings etc, I cannot see whether they are facing me or turning their back to me. This is very annoying in for example arenas.
I have tried a lot of different addons to fix this. None helped. The problem remains. I have poured lots of hours into this and it is probably a problem with the ANCHOR for the NAME PLATE and ITS CLICKBOX, it is too low by default, but there aren't any weakauras or addons that change this. There are addons that tell you that they can "move the anchor" but they cannot move it higher than the default, which is bugged on warmane (not above the head, inside the body).
I have to hit very weird camera angles or zoom in 100% to see the enemy properly. It is super frustrating and annoying. No idea what to do anymore.
Maybe someone was able to fix this.
Oh, and there are addons that let you move the nameplate up. But the clickable area does not move with it. which is a problem. I want to click on the enemy nameplate to target them, not some invisible point below that.

Post a SS of what's happening and from your addon folder. The problem still happens when you disable all addons? Have you tried download a clean client?

This has been a problem since forever. You can't even see the boar here.
I think the problem has been going for so long that people have forgotten this is wrong or something? But I don't think this is a server-side issue.
