Technical need help changing password

i just reset my pass, its soo long and random, i want to change it back to my old password that i just remembered it on my alt lel, but it said invalid.

and can you check my old char name (Flipmode) if he still active,last i check his achi was 3 years ago, you know pull the plug or something lel.

Only use numbers and/or letters, think the max length was 12 or 16 characters.
If it doesn't allow to change the PW through settings, you could try to reset it https://www.warmane.com/account/retrieve

i just reset it again and it give me new long genereted password, im trying to change to new one but it said invalid, the new password that im trying to change was 8 long just like my old password and my alt that i can login fine.

no the tauren was not mine, the name was, it got deleted from inactive lel.

Make sure you don't copy anything extra, and that it was indeed copied and not something else.

So it's telling you the new password you want to use is invalid. You are probably using symbols. Stop using them.

but why i can login into my alt just fine? its the same password that i make that account, is there new password rules?

I suppose that the password rules have changed in the meantime. If you want the same password in both accounts then you will need to change the password of your alt account to that of your main account.
