How to best experience Classic and Burning Crusade raids in Lordaeron?

Hi everyone,

Me and two of my friends are new to WOTLK and WOW in general,
We currently play as resto shaman + proto pal + frost mage and
we are having a good time playing through some of the classic quest lines and classic dungeons.

We steadily approach level 60 and my question is: what would be the best way to experience classic raids (like molten core and zul'gurub) at level 60?
Does raid tab in group finder work at Lordaeron?
Is it possible to find people for classic raid that would not use BC/WOTLK gear?
Are there guilds that do classic raid runs like these?

While I understand that classic raids is probably not the best content to run on a WOTLK server,
I feel like since we never really played WOW we would miss out on a quite a chunk of the game if we just skip those.

Honestly, any raids that are below level 80 (WotLK content) aren't run as much - it's mostly level 80's that do it for transmog gear farming or achievments. Afaik, there is no guild dedicated for level 60/70 content.

Raid tab doesn't really work, especially for this type of raids.

My suggestion is to level all the way to 80 and then make or join a run of these types of raids, when able. Perhaps once weekly do groups form to do these older raids, but it's definitely not a daily occurence.

I am also interested in that part of the content. I've been on lordaeron for a couple of years and this realm has the potential for something like that. but regardless realm is very good and without that, I play 95% of the time alone and I always find something interesting.

I'm interested in this, I want to run old raids simulating vanilla time (lock on lvl 60 and make that lvl content). Casual and lone player most of the time. :D

Well, there have been tries to do this content bracket on 60, but they have more or less failed.

First of all you would need a lot of active people willing to participate in the raids, and second of all there are some mechanics you cant really surpass, youd have to cheese em, like anything including Onyxia cloak. Add on top that Naxx40 is not included, so there is little incentive to farm MC, fail your way through BWL and then maybe get to do some AQ40.
