Certain players abusing this hunter ability to troll their teams and make their own team lose fights & battlegrounds.
Is it possible to prevent this? Like paladins can not use hand of protection on flag carriers etc.

Yup. I've come across this as well recently. He's standing behind every friendly player, so he can't get hit himself, and then making everyone else get dazed constantly.

I strongly suggest you record a video of this or take several screenshots and do not edit the screenshots in anyways. Then put a ticket in game and include your screenshots/video. Players that troll in BG's like that can receive a suspension for intentionally causing a game loss. I would also recommend that you whisper that player when he/she does it and let them know you are recording/taking screenshots and what they are doing is against the rules. A lot of times, people will stop. However, you have the trolls that think it's funny and just don't care. You will have to unfortunately put a ticket in and let the GM's handle them for you.

Me and a friend of mine have reported this somewhat hunter individual many times via in-game ticket with actual evidence and screeshots and so far we have gotten the usual ticket response of: "We are investigating the actions of this player bla-bla-bla" everytime and yet, that said player is still running rampart griefing/disturbing gameplay. Certainly i would not mind at all having aspect of the pack disabled on bgs/arenas. just like paladins are not longer able to HoP/Divine intervention flag carriers

Although it is annoying, disabling this spell would affect the game. You cannot disable a spell that is regular in the game and can help your team win (for example, speeding up the movement of the flag bearer in WSG). The only solution is to report such a player and then he can be banned. However, for this you need to make a video because the intention cannot be identified based on a screenshot.

I wrote a ticket ingame about this situation, even gave name of the person who does that. Long story short, this hunter always in AV or Conquest bg, and Kennz in opposite side, aka horde. Reply I got from GM is - record video, make SS.
Like dude really? do I have to do your job? I already gave name, just track him while he is in bg, today, tomorrow and see your self. cmon. so I ended up closing ticket, because I dont have time to fraps, put on youtube, and so on. easier to trasnfer to horde side.

in what regard would affect the game? many achievements and features such as carrying the flag in WSG/EoS in wow can be done without aspect of the pack or any speed modifier buff on. Also the possibility of griefing one and every single battleground match as well as arena (something in which i haven't seen for now) can be truly done with one button, aspect of the pack. which can easily outweight any good performance of every good player thanks to one singular random hunter.

A good idea would be that ignoring a hunter would make the Aspect of the Pack buff not affect you, but I don't know how easy this is to do, technically.
We need a vote-kick system for battlegrounds. Reporting players as AFK doesn't work to remove disruptive or uncooperative players.

With mercenary you get kicked from the BG by the opposite rival guild :-)
