Just finished jewelcrafting with one of my toons by only following this content list within guide and recipes followed to the dot.

I spent 7,448 gold to purchase all required materials on lists before I started to skillup profession. I sold everything I made back to vendor so I didn't use much gold on the skills. Probably whole thing would be costing at the moment 8,000 to 8,500 gold.

I just finished the guide. Everything went well, some points were slightly different, having to make 1 or 2 more items, but I believe it was due to RNG.

But be aware that it is very expensive, I spent about 10k gold buying everything on AH, I didn't farm anything

Infaltion hits at the end of year like this due to coming gold squish so definetly not the best time to level up professions with auction house! :D

For anyone reading this nowadays, 200 to 230 just make amulet of truesight the mats are 10x cheaper than the other stuff.

Unfortunately I can't edit so i'll just add a quick follow up, from 245 to 300 the prices are absolutely insane on all the mining gems, and the solution is a world drop recipe Aquamarine Ward ring, you can do this from 245 to 300, even at green skillups its worth it, every other recipe is a 50gold loss each. Probably won't last long after I post this but if you are lucky you can get one.

There's no need to edit the guide all the time, prices change thorough year. I made JWC to my newest toon with only spending 3k gold using this exact guide I made in march so it's starting to flip over to expensive side everything now

As of today it was around 5k gold to max JC with the exact materials used in OP + suggested extra's.
