Getting back into it after losing Molten account

I missed this game a lot. Finally got back into it and the memories are hitting hard.

A couple questions though, why is Warmane now considered to be extremely toxic?

What’s up with all the talk about being P2W?

Gear score gatekeeping?

I remember back in the day when I played it was fine, nobody was an asswipe and it was easy to get into.

Started playing 3 days ago, met a couple friendly players that helped me out with some quests, and everything seems okay.

What am I missing?

Toxic as any other server with thousands of players that are fed up over X/Y/Z.
P2W is coping mechanism for those with inferior gear. Often stems from losing several arenas/BG's in a row. Instead of focusing on improving their own gameplay as a solo or as a group, they rather point a finger and play the blaming game.
High GS is asked because people tend to play subpar compared to their GS. Not to mention all those BoE plate caster epics on retris, furies, and even on DK's don't help.

People forget that this server exist like 14 years.
Everyone says is p2w but thing is most of the people get thier gear by playing (all thoose years).
Yes people support the server ,and thast the reason why many can play here for FREE!!! but many forget that

Have wittnesed 78lvl frost mage winning half Durotar in duels, even myself as exp Ele Sham have winning 2.2k teams in 2s with 78 lvl prroffesion gear.
So people who complain are just bad at this 15 years old game ,and they are the toxic ones ,In my opinion ofcorse..
Most geared people is good for pve too,because they actually boost you tfor free.
Instead QQ lets maybe try to be better,more skilled and engoy
