Will there be a new Onyxia server?

Will there be any new Onyxia server? A server where you can relive all the adventures again, from Vanilla to WotLK?

I haven’t really had the chance to fully dive into WoW before, so I wanted to make up for it. I leveled my first character to 80 on Lordaeron, but I had to realize that unfortunately on this server everyone only plays the latest patch content. Everything else is mostly just transmog/mount runs, and even those are rare and don’t cover all the content.

I’d really enjoy progressing patch by patch, fighting for the best gear and experiencing every piece of content to its fullest.

Onyxia is currently on phase 2 of wotlk (Ulduar) you still can catch up rest tho.

And if there will be some kind of onyxia reset? There is a posibility. Warmane in past used to have realm called "Frostmourne" that was basically a wotlk progressive realm so people can gear up their characters that are later transfered to icecrown realm while frostmourne resets completely.
Frostmourne is no here and we have onyxia instead that has similar function but it starts from vanilla through tbc up to wotlk unlike frostmourne wotlk only.

At the end Onyxia will reach final phase (RS) and then it will end it's life and all characters from onyxia will be moved to icecrown.

But what's next after that? We don't know. The most common options are either full reset of onyxia or returning to frostmourne instead (Depends on how warmane team feels about onyxia).

Return to frostmourne will be just return to old Warmane ways as frostmourne was the only good way to let new players go to warmane (As joining icecrown as new player will simply make you hit a wall of ABSURD GS requirements for raids).


But scenario of Onyxia reset most likely wont be the same as before, because warmane devs definitely learned one thing or two and will there is high posibility that new onyxia will have some custom tweaks and changes, my biggest bet will be around phase 2 and further vanilla raids as vanilla phase 2 was kinda a disaster. Mybe we will have some class overhauls like in turtle wow or maybe we will have something crazy like crossfaction dungeoneering and raiding which could be nice because i could play paladin without choosing between blood elf or faction that raids less. Nobody knows.

I liked farming HC on the bridge, but it really ruined the vanilla experience because warriors and rogues got the best gear right at the start of the battleground. There was also a problem with the gate opening phase: because the administration decided to leave resource gathering to the players conscience, the server emptied out, and there was nothing to do on Onyxia until TBC. No one wanted to participate in the gathering, even most of those who completed the mount questline simply waited for the gathering without participating. I was one of those who got the mount and farmed those resources as much as I could, plus bought them from the auction house, but it was a drop in the bucket. I think the multiboxers saved this event, because in my presence, some druid was donating resources by the thousands; it's impossible to get that amount solo. Next time, it would be a good idea for the server administration to think about automatic gathering resources.

The AV bridge farm was good times and getting R14 early was kinda fun. To more closely match the Vanilla experience though they definitely need to make it so winning battlegrounds is the primary goal. The other issue is that as server population declines, AV won't pop so much anymore so R14 is way more difficult to get in later phases.

I think the easiest way is if they could create a new vendor that simply sold ranks for honor points. They could just be like a badge you hold. You have to buy previous ranks to unlock the next one. Then eventually get up to Rank 14 that costs 75k honor points.
