Well could you please post some of your numbers you get in BWD for example? Ofc this thread made me curious and I tried to get as much mastery as possible. But for me it just didn't work out. Though I just tried it in a rdf hc and not in a raid. I ended up starving on energy and getting way lower dps than I get stacking haste. Maybe I was just unlucky with the maingauche procs?
For me I get about 26k dps average on the bosses in BWD stacking haste with mastery as 2nd stat prio. I got about 17,5 mastery atm.
if you mash buttons dps shouldn't change with fps. i you actually trying to not get energy capped and things like refresh snd on last second it matters. Server delays matter much more.
to mladenmisic: expertise cap can be now anywhere 20+. so far even 22 is enough in bwd for some reason. Haste should be better retail, but here mastery is much better now. Most likely it is you who did worse than usual.
And stop referring to rotation already. It is easy, but just using skills in right order won't yield much.
About Chima slimes - maybe that too. But it hit cap i still not 8% outside bwd too.
Hunter wild quiver works a bit differently. I just hope when they fix mastery they actually fix combat potency part of it too.
each point of mastery gives +2% proc chance base plus the bugged 2% of the mastery you already have. Ex 20 mastery = 40% base chance, plus 40% chance that each of procced MG will proc again, plus 40% chance that each second mg will proc third, etc. There is a limit of how many MG procs can server allow at once (depends on server load). but basically 0.4+0.4*0.4+0.4*0.4*0.4+...= around 60% total. going 22 would make it around 70%. 30 mastery would take just base 60% and 36% of second mg thats well over 100% proc rate (not chance). And its probably where you will SEE that server wont let you do as many MG as you would normally do with these bugs.
Pretty much 25 (=50% base chance) would be a break point as from that point every mg is more likely to proc one more mg than not to.
There is no offensive trinkets with +mastery proc or use. Only tanks ones.
I am so getting bored now. With so many things depending on luck and bugs even when I do get an upgrade I cant even tell if its any better. Only things that make life a bit more enjoyable are threat and angry tanks.

What about you guys?
I cant post any SS because I had to format my drive a few days ago but my most memorable performances are 62k on Magmaw 10m and 32k on Cho'gall 10m. Im stacking mastery and I am currently at 23.82, 10.41 hit chance and 25/25 expertise.
full buffed for tank'n'spank you can aim for 30k easily with 20 mastery for sure
that's what i usually do on single trashes (bwd drakes) in raid without pots
thats around 50-60k dps on magmaw (if you cheat and go for dps, not the damage done :D)
chima around 20-30k, depending if you are trying to make your healers life easier, atramedes is around 30-35k too if once again you go for dps and not damage done. Maloriak - depends what you do really on blue and green phases. OMNI - if you havent died by the time abilities go off - 30k is the tank and spank mark.
i go more with more "for the raid" attitude lately so I get around this or lower at my current 21 mastery (the one with pvp gloves and shoulders). Don't have any hc gears and still miss 3 items from pre-hc bis set (molten-style). And no maelstrom enchants except weapons
Should i replace hands and shoulders with the PVP ones and ditch the 2-set Tier 11 bonus?
5% crit chance on sinister strike vs +35 agi i think
Or should i buy T11 chest over Morrie's?
But Morrie's has a lot of mastery in it.
Any other suggestions?
P.S. In every test i have done, my alchemy stone outdpses the mastery trinket Tia's Grace HC. Idk why this is but im keeping it. I think its because of the nice gem slot :)
Ahem is Hurricane worth it? or unsolvable riddle?
As we are all aware, currently RvS + Rup doesn't work. However, I don't have this included in the Bug section of my guide and neither could I find the bug on the tracker. RB + Rup gets fixed now, so this is a good "attempt" to make Rup viable for PvE on Molten, but with RvS + Rup being broken, spamming Eviscerate is still better...
Are Devs aware of this bug?
Can someone post legit test results of this as proof, which we can use?
I cannot do it, because I cannot log to WoW from some time. I'm actually active on the forums when I'm at work :D Advices for those, who would like to test it: use a /stopattack macro for RvS, SS and Rup, test it with just 1 CP, so that you can cast SS>Rup(observe damage & screen)>RvS>Rup(observe damage & screen). If SS yields 2 CPs instead of one, just use 2 RvSes to generate another point.
So 22 agi cloak enchant > crit rating 65 ?
59.4 EP > 58.5 EP
As for bracers Agi +50.
or am I missing something here?
You're right actually, although the difference is insignificant, i might have been tired. So in the end one should chose what he wishes/affords.
@lpovd: It's still the way to go, I doubt Molten will be fixing mastery, especially since similar formulas are applied to other classes as well. Maybe if someone can actually find Blizzard's own formulas from legit sources and Molten actually has the manpower to implement them. One of these days I will try to recalculate stat weights for Molten, depending on how this mastery situation looks, but 1st I need to come up with a good working formula for the way it works.
