Even though most of the development team is working on Lordaeron and it's release, there are still many daily updates to the Frostwolf repository.
The main thing is updating the core to patch 5.4.8 which is a massive job in its self, not to mention the many spell fixes, Heart of Fear and Throne of Thunder changes as well.
Although Frostwolf is not seeing as much attention as before Lordaeron we definitely haven't forgotten about it; expect Frostwolf development to pick up sometime after the Lordaeron release.
It sure seems like we have been forgotten, buff stacking "fix" still hasn't been fixed, ToT trinkets have been broken ever since ToT was released, countless classes spell fixes that don't happen. Also define "sometime after the Lordaeron release", 1 month, 2 months, 3 months considering warmane tends to run on a different time scale when it comes to MoP for doing updates/content.
It seems you do not understand the situation and this is what botters me most.
We heared that "SOON" often by now and yet there was no substance to it.
Frostwolf is lacking content. Be it PvE or PvP wise.
You didn't manage to get Pet Battles to work. Despite me being not a big fan of those yet it would open a lot of things to do and collect like achievements.
The current demand is in "small things" since we do not get any major stuff fixed anyways. Be it like that but just give us CONTENT.
Open some old raids. Get pet battles to work. Release at least ONE battleground for the PvP community.
Frostwolf is still the highest populated REALM and you know that MoP has its potential. Do not let this go to waste by completly ignoring the MoP community like you currently do. I know the focus is on Lordaeron. Be it like that.
Just give as at least some fixes in a timely manner. Even a small changelog update would help.
GIVE HOPE! Let people look forward to things which you are able to deliver.

I use the word soon since I don't actually know when more focus will be placed back on Frostwolf, it depends on a lot of factors including how smooth the Lordaeron launch goes.
Currently there are multiple issues behind the scenes with the MoP core which players don't see that need to be corrected first in order to start scripting highly requested features (even small ones), updating the core to 5.4.8 is our first step in this.
You say we should open a battleground or some old raids but you fail to see how much work actually goes into that, not only the actual implementation but also the research and testing; with the limited access to developers and QA for Frostwolf this probably isn't going to happen until more focus is returned.
I understand how frustrating it is for players but you will have to wait just a little longer; the hope is that in the long run the delay and the upgrade will benefit players the most.
The issue, Skybro, is not that we don't understand the smaller dev team.
The issue is the dev team focuses only on fixing raids, ignoring the whole pvp population.
You can't say a battleground needs more research than a raid, when a battleground is just a map that players play on (compared to a raid needing bosses to be scripted...)
Either way, it's pointless to even try to ask for the dev team to change their focus, since that seems to never be up for discussion (even though we were easily fooled into thinking community input would matter) but I figured I'd explain why so many people are upset.
It depends on the skill sets of the developers available to be working on MoP, it just so happens to be that that the few developers that are working on MoP currently have expertise in raids, dungeons and database work.
While I do admit that a battleground requires less work than say a raid, there are still complex systems that need to be worked on the get a BG working including world states and even vehicle systems for a few BG's, which in themselves require knowledge of other systems not just PvP and the BG itself.
At the end of the day most of the developers are assigned work and usually don't get free rein of what they want to implement or fix.
So it seems the PvP community in Frostwolf can expect to be neglected for the rest of 2015
But to be honest, that's fine. Warmane is a free service, and I'm certainly not going to donate until things are fixed on the realm I play. I wonder how many other people are thinking along the same lines. Here's to hoping lordaeron is actually a success this time and doesn't die in 6 months/1 year
There is still class fixes being actively done on MoP, just not at the rate as before as time is currently being split up between Lordaeron and MoP at the moment.
I can tell you a lot are thinking the same as you and not just on mop. Only until donations get to a level where it costs more to run servers and pay staff than actual generated revenue received will things change but right now its all rosy so 0 fks given. We all hope lordaeron has the desired affect its meant for but lets see after all content open and the hype train has left what happens.
right now there are more people on frostwolf than on lordaeron, and I'm not that surprised actually
and as it has been mentioned, I'm also not donating until I see some progress on mop
