LOL! Got you guys all beat. Back in TBC and playing retail I did not have TBC Dl'ed and I thought I could somehow sneak in Blood Elf territory. This sneaking came down to swimming around the whole northern part of the continent of the Eastern Kingdoms...did not even think to ask about if there was a way to get in at all. Just thwam and thwam...
Blue, you gotta make a vid for all your sick achieves LOL. A GM montage.
Believed that ONLY on Molten, if you turn on your "PvP" flag, you'll be granted with 12% increase in experience. My friend told me that once, and then ganked me. Was a sad day for me :L
My um..40 man raid to Prince Thunderaan..Wiped QQ was our first attempt to reach for thunderfury, we went blind into it as a guild and got wiped out.
When I first started I typed in /1 and I didn't know how to get out of general chat... :l
thats so funny :D :P
I was once killed by a Neutral turtle mob which i aggroed without knowing and went afk while it hitted me. After 30mins of pounding the turtle won his first Honorable Kill
When I first started playing(first char was rogue) i had no idea what combo points were.. SO I facerolled keyboard to kill everything..
Running rdf with my first(main) warr in arms with pvp gear and on battle stance.
I hate myself for that :@
Oh and i remember, until lvl50 i was not equiping greens. I was thinking that "Bind on eqip" means i cannot sell or remove that item. So i was leveling with white and gray items D:
I don't really know where to begin with the most pathetic of my deeds. When I first started playing, I rolled a gnome mage. I managed to level up to level 7 and get to Kharanos before I realized that there are things called "quests" in the game. Dungeons I did not discover until I wanted a Wind Serpent pet for my hunter, and found out that those are only in the wailing caverns.
That was on the WoW free trial. Anyways, I ended up on Molten since I wanted to try out playing a death knight, the only class I couldn't test on retail. I rolled a hunt to level up to 55 on Sargeras without realizing it is a 20x realm. I was a little bit freaked out by the quick leveling.
Some time later, noob me had gotten himself a Death Knight in WotLK, ready to complete the only task left: exact revenge upon the Lich King. So, at about level 79 in my greens from borean tundra I started spamming "lvl 79 dk looking for raid". Since I did not know of /global and was instead spamming trade chat in IF, I did not get flamed back to Light's Hope, but got a helpful whisper explaining to me that raiding is for highly geared lvl 80 players. I got to understand what they meant by highly geared at the point I was struggling to get into PoS normal, not to even think of HoR or FoS HC.
As for most embarrassing, I am not able to decide between rolling a DK because I thought I would learn abilities the Lich King has such as defile (I was really bummed when I saw "Death and Decay"), or me trying to tame a murloc for my first pet.
i still keep a and d for turning, x for sitting and s for back pedaling. i dont keyboard turn or back pedal but i still like having the option to if i ever needed. i have no focus macros at all cause i can never seem to make room for them. i probably could use them if i used a, d ,x and s for keybinds.
i even use w for running :X (even when pvping, and im alright in pvp *cough*)
