Stuck at retrieving character list

Hello,

Today, when I tried to log into the realm where my character is (Icecrown), the screen gets stuck at the "Retrieving character list" step for a few minutes, then it takes me back to the login menu with the message "You have been disconnected from the server".
Is this a general issue or it's something wrong with my account?

I get message saying: retriving character list, then i get disconnected, after that i get authenticator option in my login screen. By filling it with credentials from email or leaving it empty i get repeating error retriving character list and then disconnect. What should i do?

I removed WTF folder, "authenticator" now is gone, yet i still get disconnected after message "retriving character list". Does anyone esle have this problem?

hey, Im having this problem again I had this problem a week ago then it got fixed somehow idk how I could log into the game easily but now since yday it came back and I cant log in again

I finally found the solution.
when you see Retrieving Character press "enter" on keyboard to show server list then press it again for select server. repeat 3-4 times, then wait on retrieving character for 2-3 second for load. its done

I live in Russia and also encountered this problem.
The Windows program "ByeByeDPI" helped me.
As far as I understand, there are several such programs, and perhaps the first one is called "GoodbyeDPI," but I use ByeByeDPI and have only tested it. Telegram has a fairly comprehensive and clear setup guide (I won't leave links; find the appropriate option using a search engine).
This may seem like a workaround, but the methods suggested above for bypassing both WARP and bypassing didn't work for me.

Use vpn.
In some countries and regions (Example: Iran) the internet is filtered, thus prevent users from accessing global internet. In my case, that was the same problem, and I used Hotspot Shield to overcome it.

man the latency is uncontrollable. and today I cannot play with dc, or being yanked around. late afternoon seems to be when this happens for me at least.

Yesterday and every day before for a few weeks everything were ok, but today I can't connect to any servers without VPN (from Russia)
What's happened?
Which IPs I should add to VPN list to be able to connect? Coz I don't use VPN for everything - only for required services.
