Aurora is not in the business of taking your alts into our guild. If you apply on an alternate toon that is not your main no matter how good the application you can expect to be rejected. We are not here to gear out peoples alts.

Maybe its because you left recruitment open so long that everyone that wanted to apply on their mains have already done so, and got rejected, so they are trying to apply again on an alt hoping they will get in?

If there was a break in recruitment, it would allow those denied to the guild on their main application some time to improve on their app, so when recruitment was open again, they would know that it was the right time to try and apply again without seeming/being too annoying or persistent. But since recruitment never closes, when will they know to apply again.

Why do you use 5 healers instead of 4 (I thought Steve can solo :P) that extra dps is always better in most situations.

It's mostly us being used to the healer composition we got our first RS kill with, I know we're able to 3/4 heal it with ease (we 4-healed the alt run, too). We're going to use 3/4 healers in the future though, as we don't really need an extra holy priest anymore. (Especially with Funky's broken mace..)

99% of rejected apps are not ones that would need TIME to improve, they are actually rejected due to ppl being lazy when making them, not looking up the information needed, OR are playing a class that is not as needed at the moment. Since when do you need to KNOW when to apply again lol, common sense.
This post literally makes no sense. We're always in search of new people who got what it takes, and they are always welcome to apply, theres no valid reason whatsoever to tell them to apply by reopening recruitment.

NOT TO MENTION, some folks could be in a guild already and while wanting to apply, are not sure if they wanna leave their current guild just yet. So when you give them an option of applying NOW or wait ages for next recruitment to be opened, you're forcing them to make a choice of leaving their guild right now, and what happens if they get disappointed and things don't go well with Aurora? They can't even get back into their guild because they left it for Aurora.
On the other hand if they leave their guild for personal reasons and recruitment is closed they are forced to join another one instead, and not even get to apply. And if recruitment is opened they can just try right away.

Tl;dr milion reasons for recruitment to stay open, none for closing it.

People applying on alts is 100% to gear their alts up, not because they want to get into the guild so much and their main got rejected.

I totally agree with not inviting alts to guild for gearing. but I'd like to point out that just like most of us can play their alts well for a raid, and have their alts geared well enough for any raid, I think that these apps should be considered individually regardless of character being an alt and not completely rejected just because someone said it isn't his main. (which happened before)

still tho, any app that would slightly seem like someone trying to gear his chars will prolly get denied anyway.

Well making a clone of your main is much different than switching to a different class or spec
