Is this guide for Cata or does this work for MoP? If so things may not be the same and all. Looking for Ghostcrawler right now and absolutely nothing exists in the area and yet I have seen another hunter with him.

This guide is for MoP. Ghostcrawler is spawning (found him 3 days ago). The map isnt updated, he can spawn anywhere on there, but doesnt patrol. Good luck :)

In cata he does spawn, he just take ages to respawn, i highly recommend you to check him during night time when the population is low. Ghostcrawler spawns most of the time during evening to morning! Just camp him a week and GG!

He does spawns. Almost after every crash :D I got it after crash, then got it for friend after another one.

I see pet fever ended since they got repaired :D On cata they still respawn according to crazy timers haha

You do not happen to remember the coords for where you got Ghostcrawler do you? lol
Also, does anyone seem to be having issues with NPCscan Overlay where it removes certain mobs paths/areas in where you are supposed to find them? Does for me with Loque and when I started looking for Ghostcrawler it did it as well. Deleting the cache folders fixes it but still seems to happen for me when I have yet to find them.

If you are using not Hunter. NPC makers were smart and removed tracking of some dates for other class. Also go to interface, addons, +, go to next option in the left and on the right tick "search for ...". Can't remember what exactly it says. For classes other than hunter, you need to add NPC ID into the scan list. Hope I helped.

Probably you found a tamed ghostcrawler or loque. If you find them but not in the right zone, they will be cached but npcscan wont warn you most times. Just delete the cache everytime this happens.
