I love my mother, but I also don't find her attractive. That's not the kind of love we're talking about here, though. You might call me shallow, but everyone has different standards, and that includes at how much attraction matters just as much as how attractive some people may find each other.
You don't have to agree with my opinion, and it's completely fine if you don't. In fact, if everyone shared my opinion, how much would there be left for me?
Ahh this old conversation again.
I don't understand how people can be shallow. Yes fair enough I don't expect to be able to look at someone who looks like the back end of a bus, but beauty itself comes from your soul. I'd rather fall for someone 99% of the population would call "ugly" but that person be the most amazing person to me than have someone whos nothing but a pretty face. Looks fade as the years go on, you could have a horrible accident and it change too. But you will always be the person you are (Unless you happen to damage your temporal lobe).
Anyway.. Loving my new Human/Orc Model... not a fan of my Nlef (Might honestly race/faction change if I play WoD).

To be fair, attraction isn't just about looks. There's a lot more to a person's appearance than their figure, clothing, etc. It has a lot of depth to it, at least for me. My last boyfriend was no Justin Timberlake, and I've been single for over 2 years now. So it's not like my interests are lusty.
@Character models, you know Humans are the master race of the Alliance! My main has always been a Human. The Night Elves seem a bit to cute-sy for me, though. I much prefer a more mature and womanly appearance. Being cute is great, but not 15-year-old cute. Both Humans and Orcs are better in that regard, imo. But I still want to keep my Hunter a Night Elf simply because of how much I love the race for other aspects, particularly their culture. The archer theme, which I'm going to go for in WoD, better suits a Night Elf also. A Human is better suited for gun or xbow, and I'm not a fan of either of those.
ps. Jyxi, dear, do you play on US? If so, you should gimme your btag.
I'm EU sorry.
Just faction and Realm transferred... Off to go be an orc DK (if I ever get around to playing WoD, I will only be playing on toon, gone are the days of alts).
Damn. I have several of my EU friends playing US, fortunately. I just wish I could have all of them around. I have my own guild, and I'm planning on building it up for some raiding in WoD.
Speaking from experience, for me, that is always how it has been every expansion since WotLK. Until you get to the last patch, that is, which lasts for over a year, and you get so bored you end up making alts. Those end-expansion patches aside, I'm almost always playing my Paladin with complete exclusivity.
Hip hip hooray for being 18.

I've had a few guys start conversation with me asking that.

I like to believe I've started this conversation about looks and love (makes me feel important), so here's my 2 cents.
Attractiveness is subjective.
I've asked my sister and some female friends and some male friends what they think about the girl that I find absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. Responses:
- Sister : Meh, she's not that pretty, just above average.
- Female friends :
a) (majority) She looks pretty, nerdy looks are trending.
b) (minority) I don't like her, she looks like a hipster (she doesn't though).
- Male friends :
a) (majority) Wouldn't date, flat and boring (hurt my feels :< )
b) (minority) She looks really cute, what are her hobbies?
So yes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The fact that I know she is into the same stuff (hobbies) as me makes her 10x prettier. Beauty isn't all about physical appearance (though it usually helps, for me it's the face that matters most, especially the smile).
