1. Heroes of the Storm is awful and Hearthstone is a game which you can't play more than 2-3 hour every week.

    Yes, it's most likely a hearthstone expansion but there is one project which might be unvealed during blizzcon. Don't know if you've heard about it but it's called project overwatch. People thought it was project titan under a new name but since that prohect was cancelled and blizzard recently filed it's third trademark application, it looks like it's something else.
    wow have you played Heroes ...i got into alpha 3 days ago and its amazing...Unlike Dota and LoL Heroes is not about lane pushing...its more of a Team deathmatch Lane pushing kinda style....agree with you on hstone...Havent gone back to it since i got my mount from it

  2. Warcraft 4 or die....if "Eye of Azshara " Is a new WoW expansion...im gonna rage....if always wanted a naga/night elf expansion
    Why in the **** would they announce a new expansion pack a couple of days before they even release the next one?

    I want to play HotS, i've always wanted a mashup of heroes from the Starcraft, Diablo, and Warcraft universe. Still waiting for an alpha key though.

    Blizzard stated there wanting to do "Yearly expansions" Which would mean they would need to announce about now

    CAN NOT WAIT to see Excision again. By the far the craziest and best show ever. Dancing for 7 hours straight kills your body and you feel broken afterwards (for a good week). But totally worth it.

  5. Blizzard stated there wanting to do "Yearly expansions" Which would mean they would need to announce about now
    It would probably be a really bad idea to announce the next next expansion a couple of days before they actually release the next expansion. There are other game shows where they can announce stuff, blizzcon is just where they have a big opportunity to do it. RoS and Hearthstone were both announced elsewhere.

    Function pointers are cool.

  6. Attention entire world! Hear my proclamation! I am Lelouch Vi Britannia, Emperor of the Holy Britannian Empire and your only Ruler! Schneizel has surrendered to me. As a result of this, I am in control of both the Damocles and the FLEIA Weapons, and not even the Black Knights have the strength to oppose me now. If anyone dares to resist my supreme authority, they shall know the devastating powers of the FLEIA's! Those who could challenge my Military Rule no longer exist. Yes, from this day, from this moment forward, the World belongs to me! Lelouch Vi Britannia commands you! Obey me subjects! Obey me World!"
    something pointless
    Let me refund that for you.
    Spoiler: Show
    new meme, yes.

  7. Code:
            if (a < b)
                    return -1;
            else if (a == b)
                    return 0;
            else if (a > b)
                    return 0;
    Took me ages to find out why qsort wasn't properly sorting stuff.

  8. Naruto ending *asplode*

    :(
    You might have noticed the One Piece referrence at the end of the manga. My friend told me that One Piece had also had a few, it was really fun to look at the cover page and find the referrences to Naruto. I believe I manage to find 5 or 6, was actually quite fun.

    I wonder how long it will take for them to decide they can only do WoW expansions, lacking the creativity for anything else, and ditch those like the last one.
    That's actually what I was thinking too. Blizzard seems quite focused on the Warcraft franchise currently, probably because the name "warcraft" is recognized even by people who aren't gamer. I just really hope they don't release warcraft 4 some day in the same butchered SC2 way. Maybe I'm old school, but I enjoy having complete games. I can excuse it for story based adventure games (wolf among us, walking dead, etc) but for an RTS?

    Unlike Dota and LoL Heroes is not about lane pushing...its more of a Team deathmatch Lane pushing kinda style
    Dota isn't focused on lane pushing. There were meta's in the past when people would focus purely on push strats, but now it's basicly balanced. Can't say much about LoL, never bothered with it but I never got the impression that it was a pushing fest. Seemed to be quite important to gank a lot, but as I said, just my impression of the game.

    The only thing really different in Heroes is that it tries to reward everyone and doesn't really allow someone to be a "loser". I feel like it's an attitude that games have a bit too much of those days.

    I wouldn't say that is how it is intended, but more of a side-effect to enforcing the "team play" aspect they really wanted to emphasize.

    I kinda agree about the SC story/campaign issue, but I blame that more on Activision than Blizzard. Not saying Blizzard isn't at fault, though. I put emphasis on "kinda", also, because while it didn't deliver a campaign for all 3 races like SC did, the story it did deliver was a good one still.

    I remember an interview from the last blizzcon where a developer mentioned that they really want to erase the negativity that a lot of dota/LoL games carry with them. I can't say if the level they reached right now was intended, but the direction atleast was.

    You are right, I personally blame it on Activision too.

    I suppose? A less likelihood of people raging at me because I'm bad (due to being new at the game or don't play it often enough) is a plus for me. Though I'd like to think that I'm not so bad, just that people feel like they need a punching bag and take shots at the weakest link other than themselves.

    It's obvious that Blizzard wants to appeal some to the already existing MOBA market, but from what I can see, it would appear that Blizzard is more interested in appealing to people who haven't tried out the genre just yet. Kinda like how WoW reached out to a lot of people who hadn't tried MMO's before and still does.

    You may or may not like the game for its qualities, but that's fine I guess? At this point, there is a different MOBA for everyone. There's certainly enough of them around...

  12. If she's amazing , she won't be easy.
    If she's easy , she won't be amazing.
    If she's worth it , you wont give up.
    If you give up , you're not worthy.
    ...

    Truth is , everybody is going to hurt you ; you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.

  13. people feel like they need a punching bag and take shots at the weakest link other than themselves.
    Let me tell you something that we say in dota: "95% of all mid lanes are won."

    You might not be playing the game, but I'm sure you still catch the meaning behind it.

    The casual gamer market is the most profitable, a lot of companies started to aim towards it to draw in more people. I learned quite a bit about that from following the PoE changes that happened the past year, since the company behind the game is extremly open to why certain things get changed and even provide statistics. A lot of genre simply have a very rough start and are difficult to get into. Before WoW got released, MMO's were a "hardcore" experience. WoW allowed people to enter the genre quite easily for MMO standards and it payed off and became very successful. Which is basicly what Hearthstone is to me, I'm not really a card game fan but doing my dailies and maybe playing 30min to an hour is quite fun.

    You may or may not like the game for its qualities, but that's fine I guess? At this point, there is a different MOBA for everyone. There's certainly enough of them around...
    Mhm, everyone has thier cup of tea and that's perfectly fine. The most important part will always be to have fun with the game you play.

  14. Actually looking forward to end of season rewards on LoL.

    Naruto's ending was good. I feel satisfied with it. I hope there won't be a part 3 though.
