Met my gfs brother today for the first time in four years. Was weird. She's the baby in the family so everyone is super protective and her brother didn't really say much to me. Just rolled his eyes when he looked at her (my gf).
Her family is very judgmental. Her parents have never met me and hate me. They have called me a loser (because I have long hair) and they have told her our relationship will fail because I'm an Atheist (they're Catholic). At least her cousins (the women) are very nice and they like me. :)

Sometimes there's nothing better than to be hatred by her parents to create an even stronger relationship. It depends on which kind of girl you are talking about.

Well, my family loves her to death and she knows that and she knows that I'll never get treated the same way by her family. Her family is very judgmental and very dramatic and it just kills her that her family will never give me a chance unless if I'm some millionaire that buys her the world.
And personally, I truly don't care. I've told her that I will never care if her family hates me. But I know it'll hurt her because she'll never be able to bring me around and if she does, everyone will ignore me. So I have to be realistic here and try to at least be neutral with everyone.

Oh god, sounds like you intend to have an actual tree. I use a fake one since... forever by now. I don't enjoy cleaning up the mess a real tree leaves behind >.>

I only had a real one once or twice, but the cleaning you gotta do really isn't worth it. Some people don't like to get a tree ready for xmas, but I really love decorating it, it's just so much fun.
Also, why does every country have a german store those days? Is that our new plan to take over the world or something?
