1. Well... I wouldnt date a smoker imho

And I respect that, everyone has their own taste and opinion. To be honest, one of the reasons I started smoking was that my ex smoked so I started too, liked it and continued to smoke. Now I'm lucky to have found a girl that also smokes, and actually the same cigarettes as me.

  2. Teach your kids to smoke while you're at it.

  3. Not true. My old man has been smoking for 20+ years and he stopped. Just like that... Also, there are records of people being 80+ years old who smoked their entire life, no problem at all. And even if I do die earlier, so what, it's only death.
One person that smokes for 20 years and then quits doesn't mean that everyone will quit right away, my dad has tried to quit multiple times. 17 year old you doesn't care about dying earlier because the date will occur way in the future. 50 year old you will cry over how stupid you were wanting to spend more time with your children and family. Your quality of everyday living will also decrease, and that is 100%. Death from cancer or other things from smoking (strokes, etc) isn't guaranteed but the other side affects that will make your quality of life greatly decrease are.

I agree. Some people's body just can't handle smoking very well, while some don't have any side-effects at all, like your grandmother. All in all, I don't know, people should choose to do what they want, if someone wants to smoke let them, like me. We'll all die anyway...
Some people don't want others to make terrible mistakes that future you will hate yourself for. But by all means, go ahead and smoke. Let me know when you start waking up every morning and cough out half of your lung.

  4. I remember almost chocking on a cigarette as a small kid.
Was a fun and educational experience.

Well I guess that's true. But on the other hand, I'm a specific person, I don't have much emotional ties to people or to my parents, sisters, brothers, etc. I'm not really connected to this world that much. So even when I'm 50 I won't care that much if I live or die. Again, as I said, I might not get cancer, maybe my body handles smoking pretty well.

Like I said, my old man has been smoking for a long time, haven't heard him cough a single time any time of the day.

  6. Smoking makes you look less appealing

    >Thinking your views on life and everything won't change in 33 years

Your brain isn't fully developed and won't be for another 8 years. But maybe your brain is a super brain and is already developed, you seem to be a super-being immune to the side effects of cigarettes.
