looks like you didnt play much during the beta, fastest guys on x5 got to 60 within 5.5 hours, so a 3x will be at most another 5 hours added to that.

The average time people need to go from 1 to 60 is around 200 hours with a 1x rate. How did you manage to do that in 5.5 hours? I know you had x5 rates, but still..
pleass guys fix this exp rate to 1x ... pleassss or i need to go play blizzard **** ;XXXXXXXXX
I'd expect that to be made available at that point, as long as your class is one those races can be, of course.
The trick to this whole thing is being in a dungeon group constantly after you reach 15, the extra exp you get for finishing it up is massive. Without it it would be a lot longer.
I might have missed an already existing info here, but I have to ask: Is there going to be any "debuff limit" or every class will be able to use the entire arsenal (skills & items)?
There will be no debuff limit in vanilla content. We also have a FAQ post in the previous thread over here.
You must be kidding or mental. I've just checked my /played on Lordaeron and it says I got from 1 to 80 in 220 hours. It was my first alliance toon so I did all the possible explorations and quests. Usual leveling could have taken 30% less, around 150 hours or 6 days.
When Classic came, it took me just over a month to hit lvl 60 with a warrior. So 200ish hours seems correct number with a slower class. I reckon locks or AOE grinding mages can get it to 150 easily.
The amount of xp required to get to 60 was drastically reduced in TBC and then again in WotlK compared to the vanilla. And the amount of xp gained from many quests was increased.
Idk what values will be used here.
Also you need to farm some gold to buy a mount and learn skills, you need to lvl professions, to farm pre-bis, enchants and recipes, to do attunes and some mandatory quests, to farm repu. All of this is not increased by x3 rates.
Values followed the Vanilla tables, and not the reduced TBC/Wrath values.
First HC 60 took ~70 hours /played. Others in the top 50 to 100 to reach level 60 took almost twice that (130-150 hours /played). I figure the fact that they were the fastest in the world reducing those times balances the fact that those times were probably a bit slower because they were HC and not taking chances that normal players would balances out, and makes those figures a good rough guess for how quickly it can be done by average skilled players.
But it's not just taking those numbers and dividing them by 3 or 5...because so much of vanilla leveling is the traveling time, and increased rates don't do anything to help that...so I'm going to figure the first 60s happen around 36 hours after launch, and you'll have a couple raid teams worth by the time MC opens the week after launch.
Thats so true. Cheaper and earlier mounts and additional FP's probably save a LOT of time in WotlK leveling compared to vanilla.
In a general sense it is true, but x3 actually reduces travel time: increased xp rates make it that the quests in the zones are actually enough to level, meaning you will hop around multiple zones less or not at all.
I would reckon x3 on vanilla should be same as x2 on wotlk. But even with x1 wotlk you have to hop between zones less since xp is usually enough to finish the zone with enough xp for a new zone. Now make that x2 which should put you in comfortable level or even 2 above next zone.
