Well, I finally got around to watching Sword Art Online for the first time.

Is the English dub even good?

Yea, from what I have seen of english sub it's not that much different, but my knowledge of it is from a couple of fights. I also can't get the past the part that Rukia sounds like an old lady in Japanese.

I used to like Bleach, but as the series dragged on without any proper idea, it just became a drag. Modern shounen authors have no idea how to keep their manga interesting. The sudden introduction of a crapload of characters and turning the fascinating, fresh shinigami idea into DBZ with swords started the downfall.

But I gotta admit, the fights are still fun to watch just for how crazy it is.
