Yep, that guy that pulled zangestu out of ichigo pulled all of the soul reapers swords out of them. Called Zanpakto rebellion arc, and it's in season 13 if you are interested any further. (Where I am at, last complete season of english dub)Pretty cool fights in it, and that's the first time it shows ichigo as full hollow, i think. Before it just had him wearing the mask, before he mastered it.

That's also what sucks about bleach, fillers everywhere. Although this one was cool, the season long one before it was a /snooze fest in my opinion. And i even watched that one new, on television.

It's in the middle of it, he just started to fight Ulquiorra before it CUT TO FILLER. FFS.

I used to like Bleach, but as the series dragged on without any proper idea, it just became a drag. Modern shounen authors have no idea how to keep their manga interesting.

All shounen series go down that road. Every season or arc has a new big bad, there's a beginning fight that the hero(s) loses, then the training period, beating countless minions and freshly introduced mini-villians and finally a 10 episode long showdown. Rinse and repeat.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is immune to that. It started roughly 25 years ago, and it's still ongoing and fresh, with 8 story arcs, which are all set in a different time, place and with different characters.

It's also extra interesting because it either has avoided the generic shounen aspects, or created them.

Fist of the North Star is also immune to the same problems as "the big three", because it actually ended. FotNS heavily inspired Dragon Ball and many other shounen series to come.
