It took me 102 runs to get my Laden Despair. And iv'e had that a good 4 months.. so I've done about 300-400 SC HC runs
never dropped :(

3rd run, not so bad. It dropped for me on my 1015th run. Patience and Perseverance paid off... and Clovis kept telling me it dropped for him on his 1st run just to piss me off.

When I was still playing on the TBC server a few years ago, Anzu dropped on my very first heroic dungeon run. Back then, you had to do a quest to get the druid's epic flying form and the last part of it was summoning and killing Anzu. Needless to say I did not really know what that is and I did not pay any attention. I was just happy to get my epic flying form. Only later did I knew that it was actually the rare mount we are all looking for. Ex nihilo nihil fit. It never dropped for me again :( and I was so mad afterwards for not paying any attention.

After doing the chain quest and farming it for 140 days, it's all worth it
although I have to say: A cow riding a bird looks epic weird.
