I got it to work 20 mins later. The issue was he is using my account and it needed to be approved through the PoE website for a Steam link. Now the issue is I have a Mac book, and we cant get PoE to run. I have Crossover and Wine but both isn't loading PoE. Crossover used to run PoE, Terraria, and WoW on my Mac book and now decided not to work? So I switched to Wine and loads WoW fine but **** YOU with PoE. I contacted Crossover staff but that didn't help. I have a Windows desktop too but it barely runs it. :c

I know Mac book sucks but is used for my Uni, however it runs games generally very smooth with medium graphic settings. Oh well. :<

Bootcamp your Macbook with Windows 7.
Thats what I did, however there are a few issues regarding it not having full access to hardware. Which meant I wasn't getting to run WoW to its full potential however on medium it was fine, Low/Med for Raiding.

This will solve your POE issue. :)

Yeah, before Crossover mysteriously stop working for PoE, I had it on lowest settings on the Mac and worked well. But HORRIBLE loading time. WoW works great and smooth on med settings. :3

It's surprisingly stable this time around. Usually the PoE launches have a lot of server issues because a **** load of people wanna give it a shot, but this time the servers held up fairly well. My friend even told me a lot of our old friends came back to play (can't really tell, not using my own acc atm), which makes the game even better because party play is really fun. So far no one I talked to had complains, the experience the game offers is a lot more fine tuned now. And of course, the new temp leagues draw a lot of attention to the game swell.


Oh and you were right, the pathing on Lord is pretty good, I saw it in action today.

About the pathing and LoS, in some areas, it's so amazingly good that I started thinking to myself "holy **** people might learn the mechanics to Sindragosa by the time they hit level 20". I mean, you can actually LoS casters and they will run to you around the object, instead of through it or just stand there like a dumb **** until it can cast on you again.

ps. Do I need to pay again to get access to the expansion? I haven't looked into it yet.

To be fair, Blizzard generally have a lot of trouble with their launches due to the DDOS issues which they usually have.

I also noticed the LoS system for mobs, the kobolds in elwynn would stop casting fireball if I run behind a pillar and attempt to follow me after 3 seconds. Wolfs would attempt to run around a fence instead of poping a redbull and flying over it like they usually do. Was a fun experience overall, I hope it will make it into the server without destroying performance. Since today there was only 1 other person online, besides me and Alli.
