Faction balance

i know... i played vanilla on nost and ely and knew that the pop would be a problem

but thats why it is importent to handle the inbalance.. when people know its 50/50 they will fight the zones back.. but now every ally try's to avoid these popular zones

We started round 45% Alliance and now u clearly see its 40 and its getting worse

Nah, my answer is that warmane could implement a faction balance, or some reasons for ppl to play alliance by offering some littel advantages when leveling.
Imo the server will just benefit from a 50% 50% faction balance.

Everyone who wants to level as fast as possible goes short ways and avoids pvp zones. stv is usual avoided by everyone who is not 100% into pvp. tanaris is hell of a way for alli and more or less a waste of time on 5x server (only a hand full of quests and a lot of trouble, there are way better zones to level).

i think there are two solutions

1. faction que's
--> so the realm stays at 50/50 ratio with alliance que and horde que... when the pop is under 13k the ratio stays at 50/50 and horde still que up to join and alliance player join instant
--> cap factions at 6,5k

2. faction transfers .. but its not save that horde will tranfers to ally

Dont change something ingame.. it wouldnt change anything i think.. just force the server to be balanced and everyone is fine..

dunno why there is no official statement about that.. just write we are working on something to fix it or not and close this thread.. done..

best example is the huntercamp in stv.. yesterday i just tried to take the kill quests obviously i got killed because some horde player know he dosnt get punished for that like ganked by allies or something.. thats the main reason why they give a **** about allys and dont respect them because they know we are more..

so i tried to fight these horde players with my guild but failed because of the horde majority.. ye and i ended up in Arathi Highlands like i said..

Why should horde respect alli? People who do open pvp will kill their enemy anytime if possible. No respect, no code, just pure pvp. stv was and will ever be a pure pvp zone.

What do you think will change with faction balance, horde will magicaly stop ganking your ***? Even with a balance 65% Alli and 35% horde, you will still be ganked in stv, tanaris and any other major pvp zone.

Well if there is a balance iwouldnt get ganked 10 times in a quest. the amount of camping would be reduced. Its not about stv or tanaris. go check ****ing outlands! there is 1 ally player surrounderd by 10 horde players. this basically doesnt make fun. and if this goes on (remember alliance rate fell fiwn from 44% to 39% already) this faction will extinct on this server.

Im already 70 and didnt touch tanaris or stv once. I very much so doubt that the imbalance is as bad as youre saying, sounds more like youre going to zones that are horde dominate even in retail, and no on a 5x server those zones are trash anyways cause so many ppl flood there. You spend more time waiting for respawns than actually leveling. I did hinterlands at 45 than WPL at 54, took like 45 mins all together.

Im sorry man but nothing really feels like *pure pvp* on fact that I leave Southshore, get ganked by +6 lvls druid. Go to Alterac, get ganked by another +5 lvls druid, arrive in Arathi highlands, mount up, get ganked by rogue and priest 15m next to city guard. Wait for quest item to spawn in Duskwood, get ganked by passing ?? and so on and on...
I am trying to deal with it, but when you get ganked 7 times in a row, mostly right after ressurection by someone +5 lvls, it really gets on nerves... just food for thoughts.
Someone somewhere posted favoring non-premium queue for alliance accounts, not sure how to implements that, but would be dandy.
Edit: oh yeah almost forgot those ganks in Hinterlands during 1. waiting for the chicken to spawn 2. during the escort itself, lovely :D

Protip: Stop playing alone? Im only lv54 shadowpriest and I have been ganked once when I ventured out to STV alone. I knocked out all of Tanaris quests and didnt get ganked once. In fact, I was with 2 other guys and we did all the ganking. Last night me and rogue knock out all of searing gouge quests and I think I saw one horde all the time there.

From my experience the horde wont attack you unless they outnumber you or your solo.

You are crazy if you go to Tanaris or STV in a 13k populated server.
My path was Darkwood, Southshore, Dustwallow Marsh (by the way, the first two quests that initiate the main chains in Theramore are bugged), Hinterlands, and now Searing Gorge.

Which zone did you go for at 35?

My path was starting zones until 28 (doesnt really matter what race) then i did Arathi til 35, Duskwallow til 44/45, then Hinter, WPL, Hellfire til 65, Zanger til 67, Netherstrom til 70.
