Assumptions, assumptions... I've been playing my class a long time, and WoW since Vanilla. I have also just finished crafting my last item of the Fireweave Set. Maybe it is just time of day, but that being said, the time of day that I play at must be the time of day when the majority of the experienced Horde players also play, which would make more sense for me to change factions.
Also, everyone seems to be overlooking the fact that a few days ago the Horde dominated SW for a good couple of hours. This proves my point more than anything.

That's just it you just finished crafting your Fireweave set as marvinobrero has pointed out chances are you did try to participate in a BG ill geared, and definitely no where near the experienced horde that you faced (which in itself is a problem to both factions so it is unfair that you enter whine about losing when you yourself are not that prepared sure you have experience but experience would tell you to prepare better as well especially when you realize you're up against experienced geared players as that appears to be your luck, its also worth considering that some of those really experienced players are not just equipped with crafted gear but arena gear).
By your account you claim the alliance is just plain bad on BGs because you've never won once, but clearly that isn't exactly a fact since many would back up that its merely a matter of time of day (and in the end a matter of luck too if you're not joining pre-mades). I can't say the SW raid is that representative of actual PVP quality since if you bothered looking at the chat many of us were just plain apathetic towards it, I guess if you want a far less apathetic faction then definitely the horde would be more to your favor. Definitely I'd give the horde the upper hand if city raids are your thing, because its not something you see attempted on the alliance side, but battlegrounds don't have any clear cut winners.
Anycase it seems you've made up your mind here as you just don't seem to have any luck on the alliance side during your play time so nothing left to continue on here. Enjoy horde then.

One of the problem by factions is the burden of the ungeared ppl at bgs , i play a lot pvp and iv seen to many 60-80k going battlegrounds . Now this one post here about whos more less powerfull , on ally is no easy life thats for sure as you come ungeared on Bgs you are no more than a heavy burden for those who dps on front line , from 1 - 1 with ungeared goes 3 - 1 . I am glad you join the hord , we need quality not quantity .

A lot of the time, BGs are decided by just how many people with low resilience and RDF gear decide to burden their teams' performance. And for anyone reading who this may apply to; no, your reputation grinded epics and blue gear from RDF normals does NOT count as geared, and you may as well have 80k hp and be in greens.
Still, I find I win most of my random BGs. Though having said that, I've seen alliance take some truly scorching wins, so I'd say it's a lot more balanced than some of the realms I've been on, and really all down to you and how you perform with your team.
...unless you're in Battle for Gilneas, *shudder*.

You've been playing at bad times. Most of alliance sucks unfortunately but lots of people are doing premades and usually when i'm doing premades we beat the horde nonstop. Even beat a Myrmidon pre made the other day :)

We never lost BG when we queued together. Multi bladestorm with 2 OP warrs= PWNage. Everytime I join BG horde whispers me and rages on me to leave BG... Sometimes players say "I can get faster honor losing when you play, than wining"... :D And to answer to this topic= Alliance is better,much better PvPers, you just queue at wrong time and you get UNLUCKY Bgs.

Not saying who is better, just noting that my group, with Svetox, only lost once out of a lot of BGs. Our only loss was to Ilyanah and Jyxxi because we had a terrible team and quite honestly we just world PvPed instead of trying to win. We beat them too. So 1-1 against the "best" the Horde has to offer, and 50-0 against the rest.
