elemental shamans are the most underperforming caster class in pve for 4.3 a.d 4.0.6 idk why anyone else would think different. warlocks and mages blow us out of the water unless your having a "lucky" day with LvB procs. However in pvp we are still pretty good more dominant in smaller 2v2 or coordinated 3v3 matches. We simply just don't scale as well with gear as the other casters..this is the reason why unleashed lightning and spiritwalkers grace were introduced. To make up for our lack of spammable instants and increase the mobility of an already underperforming class.

you lose against warlocks and mages? dam'n, with stoneclaw glyph, 5 sec cd interrupt and grounding i ussually fear no caster. what I find the hardest is to get rid of pesky rogues and dks. but I guess it's a personal thing after all.
shamans have never been so good since sunwell patch, so I'm really glad they got buffed. it's no longer underperforming in any way.

Wait,wut?Since sunwell patch?What about Wotlk 3.3.5 :D they do so much dmg here,in 3s like LSP(Lock/Ele/Priest)are so OP.

i said underperforming in PVE losing to locks and mages in terms of dps charts 9/10 times. I also said that ele shamans are pretty dominant when it comes to pvp.

Ele shamans are very good right now, and if played properly you can reach high ratings in 3s. I have been soloing 2s as ele in this patch, few annoying bugs but still fun and alot better than 4.0.6.
Experience - did 2.5k as ele 3 times in 4.0.6
