I can`t log in to play

Hey, I managed to make mine work, so I though of telling you what I did so it could help. The "config" file in WTF folder will not save properly unless you modifiy de enUS in the Data folder. I modified that one, and then the extension ".ru" dissapeared and ".com" appeared instead in the WTF folder. Hope it helps you.

Exactly. Thats why i made the "guide" to how change the proper realmlist. The one in enUS.
Only changing the one in the WTF folder does not help it only changes back to .ru as long as you havent changed the realmlist file in enUS

That worked for me and i know it also helped several other people.

If you don't know how follow these simple steps

Step 1: Open your Wotlk folder
Step 2: Open the Data folder
Step 3: Open the enUS folder
Step 4: Open the Realmlist file. (use notpad or any other program for opening it)
Step 5: If the realmlist is set to "set realmlist logon.warmane.ru" just change the ru to com "set realmlist logon.warmane.com"
Step 6: Start wow and try to log in. it should work
Step 7: celebrate with a beer. or a a soda if your to young for a beer

Follow this "guide" dont just change the realmlist in the WTF folder. it wont help

Go into your World of Warcraft 3.3.5a (no install)\Data\enUS and right click on Realmlist.wtf And open it in note pad, Copy "set realmlist 54.186.213.196" and put it there instead of "set realmlist logon.warmane.com" And click save, Then log into the server.

"54.186.213.196" Is Warmane Main Server IP address


How to find the server ip address if change?

Go to Start "WIndows 7} click CMD and open it,

Type "Tracert logon.warmane.com" then enter

should pop up whats warmane ip address is.

I can't find "Data\enUS" in my WoW folders.

I have tried all the guides and tricks but to no use. Either the logon server is not accessable at all, the realmlist is problematic or the client itself.
Warmane Pls help us asap already 2 days gone.
