It doesn't matter, the only thing that matters on this server is getting into a Premade. Because if you don't, chances are you will playing in a PUG vs Premade 9 out 10 times, no matter what the faction.
Humans* dominate arena.
Not really.
ilyanah you are sort of right here, but not the way you think. The broken queue system currently guarentees every battle will be a premade versus a non-premade. So if you are the luckiest person in the world and somehow 9/10 smart people queued on the non-premade side with you, that 1 person will lose it for you because 1 crapppppy player makes the difference. But more likely the case 8 of those people will suckkk and no 1 smart player can overcome that.
The queue system should be designed to match premade versus premade, or non versus non. It seems broken and it is no fun for either side of a face-roll. I would much rather wait another 3 mins for battle to start and be a part of an even team win or lose. If they made this design change ilyanah, it would be closer to blizzard queueing experience and would give 1 good skilled player the ability to actually tip the scales. As it is, that 1 good player joins on the non-premade side there is nothing he/she can do but watch a stupid team of bumbling *****s get steam-rolled by a mildly adequate premade team.
What? If you have no proof of this, please don't spread rumours. Not only would this be very un-blizzlike, it sounds stupid to even begin with. There is no way that a premade is guaranteed to meet a non-premade. It's likely to happen, because queues seem to be VERY balanced here, and what happens is that the first 5 people to queue get matched with a premade on the other side. This isn't a guarantee, as if two premades queued at the same time, they would likely face each other. A guarantee would mean it was coded to be the case that premades meet solo queuers, and that just isn't the case.
Good players can carry a BG. Yes it's hard, but it is doable. Start leading your fellow players, telling them what to do, where to go, who to kill. Some players are new, they need to be told what to do, and then they will do it.
While much is wrong with the remainder of your quote, I'm going to focus on this. "Closer to blizzard queueing experience". I guess you haven't played retail to say that. If you think players are bad here, give retail battlegrounds a try. I don't think I've had worse BG experiences anywhere. It is very much just like here, where premades will steamroll, but its worse because there are many players who are either botting or are so clueless that they could not grasp the rules of Pacman, let alone WoW.
The rules of WoW haven't changed since WotLK. Make a premade and win. Solo queue and run the risk of losing.
As an Alliance player, yes I have been able to win MANY solo queue games. Even against horde pvp guild premades. Was it easy? No, each game was a challenge and lasted the whole length of time, but you know what, as a team, even the ilvl 450 players can be useful. Just guide them, and you will be worth more than just 1 character doing damage/healing.
A smart matchmaker would certainly be the best improvement and a great feature for pvp. Something Warmane could advertise for on their server.
That and more BGs and this realm would be a dream.
I've just posted this in suggestion. IF the idea is interesting for you, go support it > http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....93#post2504093
I love how they handle suggestions. So much hope for this server in the future...Good old molten is back.
To be fair I kind of pointed out how it would be un-blizzlike in my previous post :D
Besides, it would be time spent coding that, and I'd rather they just spend all their time coding ToT hc and SoO hc so they can move onto the real stuff that matters, like BGs and class fixes...
This exactly. If one or two people really know what they're doing and the team is remotely trying, you can win most bg's easily.
I have the same stats. When you solo queue at full grievous and you know what you're doing it's possible to carry a team.
Yay more BGs to faceroll in!! But I guess you are right about the time coding. It would certainly take them 2 and a half years to implement it :/.

I mean, I'm not complaining, we can gear all our alts so much quicker with premades. Still, gy camping is boring >.>
We should be allowed to actually veto the 2 bg's as an option, I suppose since that's not blizzlike its not implemented right?
I hate that fking temple and Twin peaks, the horde most of the time have no friggen idea what to do. Out of all the games played there I have just won it once, ONCE!
And yes premades win games!
LOL.
Ilyanah and you would make a nice couple :3. Whats your character name ingame btw?
